DESCRIPTION ESSAY
Write about a place: a treehouse you and your father built together, an urban basketball court where you played for hours every summer evening. Help your reader see the place by using all the elements of scene. Describe one or two specific times or incidents illustrating why the place was important to you. Focus on specific details of memory that draw your reader into the experience. Would the place be the same if you returned there today? What was the significance of this place to your development?
