Each group will submit one proposal consisting of the following:
1- A list of the experimental variables and their operational definitions (two independent variables, dependent variable) For this study we A + will appear on your screen for about 2 second and a list will appear with high and low frequency words ,after viewing the list participant will be asked to write down as many as possible word that they recall from the list .High frequency and low frequency is the independent variable and recall recognition and memory is the dependent variable ,age difference younger and older adults
2- At least two past studies related to your concepts. Direct and Indirect Stimulus-Frequency Effects in Recognition W. Todd Maddox and W. K. Estes Harvard University and Encoding specificity and retrieval processing in episodic memory Psychological review Tulving. E., Thomas D.M.1973.
3- A reasonable hypothesis to test; it must hypothesize an interaction. Women better recall and recognized HF words adn LF words better than male.
4- List and description of the materials to be used. Participants will use and online model where they will be presented with a list of HF and LF word at the end of the slide the will write down as much words as they can remember from each sequence.
5- A sequence of the experimental procedure. A list of 3 words and 30 set will be appearing for about 10 second and one of the three is from the previous list if you cannot remember any of the word still choose one.
6 Tables and graph from jamovi showing results must be presented in you paper.
7 An excel data spreadsheet ready to accept the data as it is collected.
Materials
Once an appropriate research hypothesis has been approved, you will be required to prepare a working draft of the materials required for experimentation (Survey, Website, Task Materials, etc.). These materials need not be the finished product, but close approximation.
