Select a company. It can be Norwegian, Nordic or multinational.
Choose two periods from this company’s history, separated by at least 20 years.
Discuss the following aspects in relation to differences and similarities between the two periods:
• Changes and differences in production conditions
• Changes and differences in attitudes to design within the company
• Changes and differences in aesthetic and functional choices
• Can you link the concept of sustainability to the two periods? How? Discuss why not ?!
• You must link products to the discussion
Strive to use the syllabus literature. You will need additional literature to write the answer.
Formal demands:
• Must be between 2,500 and 3,000 words and must also contain illustrations, references and a list of literature and illustrations.
• The illustrations must support the written content of the assignment.
• You must use the APA reference system.
• The pages must be numbered. The format must be portrait A4. The thesis must have a title. Your own name and number of words must be stated. The answer must be submitted in PDF format.
