Solve 2 INTERNAL MANAGEMENT ISSUES
Analyse these issues using you selected analytical lens
Evaluate alternative solutions
Recommend solutions that will help VW move forward
Consider their implementation

Using theory from the Management major (or other comparable courses for students from other degrees or majors), students will be asked to choose an analytical lens from one of the following areas: strategic management; business processes; human resources and organisational behaviour; ethics and corporate social responsibility. They will apply the selected lens to their analysis of identified management issues related to the given problem. Based on their analysis, they will develop theoretically justified alternative solutions and from them stemming recommendations with implementation. Since this is a capstone course, the analysis is based on theory from your previous studies.
Students will write a report on the company outlining how to rectify the existing management issues. They will be assessed on their ability to deliver a robust, theoretically justified strategy that carefully considers alternative streams of thought.
The main aim of the report is:
To evaluate a real world management problem & identify the underlying internal management issues with the help of a selected analytical lens
To develop justified alternative solutions to those issues and select the most effective one
To propose specific recommendations, based on the conducted analysis, together with their implementation strategy.
The report is 2,300-2,500 words – plus title page, executive summary, table of contents and references.; minimum 24 references.
1 . clarity of problem introduction and issue articulation, selection of analytical lens
2. quality of critical issues analysis and evaluation of alternatives, supported by theory aligned with the selected analytical lens and case-related references
3. development of effective theoretically justified solutions, discussion of implementation strategies
4. quality of report formatting, style and referencing
