Your goal will be to complete a case study involving research into a recent business ethics case relating to someone violating business ethics, potentially breaking the law regarding business practices or a business/ company changing their corporate structure due to an ethical issue or unethical business practices. Instead of preparing a report, you will create a 10-15 slide presentation, which will include detailed speaker notes that will answer/satisfy the following:
Briefly summarize the key points of the case (cases) researched. (It is a good rule of thumb to find several points of view regarding your chosen topic for the best quality of information.)
Identify similar themes across the unethical incidents reported in your research.
What was the source or underlying cause of the unethical behavior?
Was an individual or a group involved? Who were the major players?
Did the accused seem repentant or defensive?
What could you as a manager or someone in a leadership role enact in order to prevent such unethical behavior in your organization?
What could you do to solve this kind of problem after it occurred in your organization?
Additionally:
Presentation must have a minimum of 10 slides (this count does not include the title slide or reference/works cited slide).
Graphics must be included.
Only use research material published January 2015 – present.
Must have a minimum of 4 different sources. Wikipedia is not a trusted source.
Make sure that your sources are cited correctly within your presentation.
