Students will be expected to write a paper on some of the salient issues related to disability in the contemporary world.
These could be current issues (for example the current global pandemic) that you were not originally aware of until you took this class. Students will in their closing remarks indicate how their view of disability changed as a result of taking this class. The paper will be 5-7 double spaced pages. The cover page and accompanying works cited page do not count in your page total.
In your reflection, include information on kinds of disabilities and challenges associated with the disabilities. What is the etiology (cause) of the disability? In regard to challenges, think about the physical, psychological, financial, and social challenges (culture and ethnicity).
