This assignment is not to be a descriptive summary/history or encyclopedia-type entry. Be sure to thoroughly engage with the topic and demonstrate the importance of that element to Canada and Canadians.

Remember that Wikipedia and websites that merely replicate original research are not appropriate sources. You must cite all sources, using either MLA or Chicago style, and also include a Works Cited or Bibliography page. Failure to properly cite your sources will result in a severe loss of points. When citing an Internet source, you must include the URL in your bibliography.
