CHose a topic

The purpose of the Term Paper is for you to explore a health care topic in depth, collect information about that topic, analyze that information, and make recommendations.

The topic of the Term Paper can be any area in the health care system that is of interest to you and that you want to explore further (it could be a topic that is covered later in the semester). The topic should have a narrow focus, and not a broad focus, such as Medicaid fraud. An example of an acceptable topic is comparing Medicaid fraud in two states or how has health care technology progressed in a specific state, what are its successes and failures?

The Term Paper is a research paper, which will have the following sections:

introduction,

specific health care issue you will explore,

literature review,

findings, and

discussion, conclusions, and recommendations.

The Term Paper, itself, is due at the end of the course, Week 15. The Term Paper should be at least 12 pages double spaced, excluding the title page and the references, and be in 12-point font, Times New Roman with normal 1-inch margins. The paper should be in American Psychological Association (APA) style. You will need at least 8 references in your paper. While newspaper articles provide information, they are not considered references for the Term Paper. References should be things such as, academic articles or government reports.

The assignment for this week is to submit two to three paragraphs that describes your Term Paper topic and what you will do in the Term Paper. The Term Paper Topic assignment
