My personal goals for this course is to receive an A (do very well in the class) and to learn a lot about information systems. I feel that I need to have this knowledge for my future career in marketing. Or any business related job.  I will study and read the textbook every week. And participate in the “Slack Discussion” (a site for class participation) online.  I have always wanted learn Data Visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft power bi. So, I am very excited that this class will utilize tableau later in the semester. My perception of information systems is that it is very important to be well versed in the subject nowadays. Nowadays the biggest companies are investing in information systems/technology.

(I am planning to enroll in MBA program after two years of working in marketing)

These traits are important to have if you want to be a successful business owner, in order to make it big you need to be able to have the ability to communicate well so you understand information quickly and accurately. Team building is one of the most important traits in starting a business, you need to find a well trusted team and build your business. Proving and accepting is always the best thing to do for any type of business, you need to provide/offer for example you don’t know if your business will be successful if you don’t offer and see what the people think about it to whatever type of product it is. Lastly motivation is key because without that you won’t have a business to begin with, you need to be motivated and ready to do it. You need to love what you’re starting and keep your head focused and into whatever circumstance you run across you need to always have the motivation to figure out the next step.
