On March 24, 2021, Governor Ralph Northam signed a bill into law that repeals the death penalty in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This is your opportunity to express how you personally feel about the new legislation.

What is the death penalty and when is it typically imposed? Do you support or oppose capital punishment, and why or why not? Is there ever a right time to impose the death penalty, if so when?
