Case A Brian is a 13-year-old male who has come to the attention of a court for an offense of vandalism. One of the challenges that probation and parole officers face is the negative portrayal of their jobs. Community supervision sentences are often seen as light or easy on the offender, and many communities hold pessimistic attitudes towards rehabilitation.  Further, often times, parole and probation officers are faulted/blamed when offenders reoffend, especially those high risk offenders. For this assignment, find a newspaper article or news video clip that shows the negative attitudes shown towards community corrections, probation, and parole.
