In Part A, you must:

In Part B, you must:

  • describe a specific pedagogical approach to the teaching and learning of onespecific Arts learning area/subject (Visual Arts, Music or Drama) that you have chosen
  • explain where this onespecific Arts learning area/subject is situated and structured in the curriculum for primary education, and explain how it could be integrated across the curriculum
  • define the elements of the onespecific Arts learning area/subject that are required to be understood in order to effectively teach it in primary education.

The purpose of this part of your assignment is to critically investigate an area within teaching and learning for your subject, and its representation in the school curriculum, with reference to relevant literature.
