Identify the stakeholders who will be affected by the adoption of podcasting. Develop a plan for reaching out to the stakeholders. Implement the plan. Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan.

Future Communication Plan

EDUC 638: Leadership in Educational Technology

Adopting podcasting in a school or workplace can be a great way to improve communication and get everyone on the same page. To ensure the adoption goes smoothly, developing a communication plan that considers all stakeholders’ needs will be important. The first step will be to identify the stakeholders affected by the adoption of podcasting. These could include teachers, students, parents, administrators, and other employees. Once all the stakeholders have been identified, it is important to reach out to them and explain the plan. This will be done through various methods, such as holding informational meetings, sending out emails or memos, or posting information on an internal website. It will also be important to anticipate any questions or concerns the stakeholders might have. This way, we will address them head-on and quell any fears or reservations they might have. Finally, developing a timeline for the implementation of podcasting will be important. This will ensure everyone is on the same page and knows what to expect.

Some of the best practices for podcasting include having a clear and concise message, using quality audio equipment, and editing the audio to remove any errors. Additionally, it is important to promote the podcast through social media and other channels (Frazier & Hearrington, 2017). This will help to ensure that as many people as possible are aware of the podcast and can listen to it. Finally, it is important to get feedback from listeners and use it to improve the quality of future episodes.

The decision of who will make the podcast episodes will need to be made by the stakeholders. It is important to consider who has the time and resources to dedicate to creating high-quality episodes. Additionally, the best practices that will be utilized in the podcast should be decided upon. These could include having a clear and concise message, using quality audio equipment, and editing the audio to remove errors (Sheninger, 2019). Finally, deciding where the podcast will fit into the curriculum is important. This will ensure that students can listen to and learn from the episodes.

Some of the questions that you may receive from teachers, students, administrators, and parents include the following:

  • What is the purpose of the podcast?
  • Who will be responsible for creating the episodes?
  • What topics will be covered in the podcast?
  • How often will new episodes be released?
  • How can I listen to the podcast?

The team will be prepared to answer these questions so that everyone understands the purpose of the podcast and what they can expect from it. Additionally, providing a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) can help address any other questions that stakeholders might have.

The communication plan should include the following steps:

  1. Identify the stakeholders who will be affected by the adoption of podcasting. This step will occur over a week as you reach out to different groups and individuals.
  2. Develop a plan for reaching out to the stakeholders. This could include holding informational meetings, sending emails or memos, or posting information on an internal website. This step needs to be comprehensive, so it will take three to four weeks to complete.
  3. Implement the plan. This step will occur over the next two weeks as you reach out to different groups and individuals.
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan. This step will occur after the plan has been implemented and will help determine if it has successfully reached the stakeholders. This step will take place over a week.

Create an 8-10 question needs assessment survey in an online survey tool that you would give to a program or small group leader on a school campus in order to analyze their program’s budgetary needs.

Program budgetary

A program budgetary needs assessment determines the financial needs of a small group or program in order to assist schools in allocating funds based on needs and priorities. A program budget review requires looking at key information about a program in order to develop a clear picture of how the program fits into the school’s continuous improvement plan.

Part 1: Budget Summary

For this assignment, to help familiarize you with budgets, analyze the budget of a small group at your site. If you cannot access a small group budget, you may utilize the “Small Group Sample Budget.”

In 250-500 words, write a summary of the budget that includes:

A brief overview of the program or activity including its purpose, structure, and participants

Current budget expenditures, including unexpected expenses

Current budget revenue

Non-budgetary resources required to operate and meet organizational goals

A description of how the budget is monitored, and the process of how unexpected adjustments are made to the budget

Part 2: Program Budgetary Needs Assessment Survey

Create an 8-10 question needs assessment survey in an online survey tool that you would give to a program or small group leader on a school campus in order to analyze their program’s budgetary needs. You will be administering this needs assessment survey in Topic 2. Examples of possible small groups include special programs, clubs, after school activities, sports clubs, student activities, etc.

The needs assessment survey should address, but not be limited to, the following:

Assessment of the current conditions or the group’s ability to achieve its stated goals or outcomes

Resources required to fulfill the operations of the group

Wants and requests needed for the group

Gaps that are affecting the performance of the group

Provide the link to your online needs assessment survey on the bottom of your summary.

APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.

This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
