What does creativity mean to you ?

We know that intelligence and creativity can cover a wide spectrum and is not limited to traditional views of intellect.
1. Begin this assignment by writing a one-page reflection on the following: “What does intelligence and creativity mean to me?” There are no right or wrong answers; this is a starting point for your research as you tap into your own prior experiences and knowledge.

Go back to your original one-page reflection as you started this paper. Write up to one page on how your views have shifted, if at all, because of your research.

Mackenzie had an emotional connection to that label, too. But did she have legal connection? Is all she had an emotional connection? Do you think Mackenzie wrongly applied the label of “First Generation” to herself? Explain.

Pinto Article

The label “First Generation” is an emotionally proud label those who are the first in their families to graduate from college. Mackenzie had an emotional connection to that label, too. But did she have legal connection? Is all she had an emotional connection? Consider this excerpt from Pinto’s article:
“Although Fierceton’s mother had gone to college and she [Mackenzie] was raised in an upper-middle-class home, Fierceton joined the first-generation and/or low-income student organization, and later claimed on applications that she was the first in her family to attend college. ‘It was the word ‘family’ for me,’ Fiercetont tells Katie. “i was like, I don’t have one of those. Why would I ever reference them? They don’t have anything to do with me or who I am?'” (3).

Do you think Mackenzie wrongly applied the label of “First Generation” to herself? Explain. (No psychological tirade, . No she’s narcissistic. She’s a compulsive liar. Or or or. Those clinical terms are not the analysis needed to make your conclusions for this assignment.)

Select three of the seven and explain what you know about your audience. Answer in three-bullet form. For instance, if you chose to think about your reader’s job responsibilities you’d start a bullet with that label and explain what you know about the audience’s job responsibilities.

Who are your readers

Our textbook offers a series of questions to help you better profile your reader, in this case, the reader of your letter. Use the assignment description of who your audience is for your letter, and profile your letter reader based on three of the seven areas listed in the textbook on pages 93 and 94. The goal is to think about this hostile audience more deeply, so you can draft a better letter. Select three of the seven and explain what you know about your audience. Answer in three-bullet form. For instance, if you chose to think about your reader’s job responsibilities you’d start a bullet with that label and explain what you know about the audience’s job responsibilities.

How would you describe each category of the reader in your new position? What are the three levels within your colleagues or maybe beyond your colleagues but still professionals?

Why is your audience reading your document

You are writing your memo–an internal company document–to your colleagues. (Read Case Study description for more details.) Our textbook on pages 94-95 discusses three categories of readers. How would you describe each category of the reader in your new position? What are the three levels within your colleagues or maybe beyond your colleagues but still professionals? Answer in bullets, one bullet for each audience type.

if your audience is neutral or positive, hostile, or part of the problem, reply how you could adopt the three options for addressing a hostile audience for either the letter or poster.

Your reader is hostile

In your letter and poster defending your client, you should assume your reader is hostile to the subject or to your approach to it: rehabilitating someone’s image who has engaged in problematic behavior. On page 96 of our textbook, Table 5.1 offers a column of “Try This . . .” if your audience is neutral or positive, hostile, or part of the problem Reply how you could adopt the three options for addressing a hostile audience for either the letter or poster. Put our reply in bullet form, specifically one bullet per suggestion.

If you want to explore some of the hostility toward your client, reread the discussions about your client. Most posts were quite explicit in their dissatisfaction.

What’s Wrong with my Poster? Explain to your friend what features were needed for a poster and how she could have modified her content to fit the needs of a poster.

Whats wrong with my poster?

READ THIS POSTER SCENARIO: Your friend earned a C- or 70% on a poster she created. The feedback stated, “a poster is not a letter. Your poster looks like you nearly cut and pasted a letter onto a word document, added some color, and a few banners, and decide you’d created a poster.” You feel bad for your good friend; generally, she does good work, so you decided to take a look. Open the attachment to view the “poster.” Unfortunately, you agree with the grade and analysis. Your friend is correct: no date or signature was included; no letter-like margins are there; it’s error-free and has a scan code on it. But you see problems.

In the discussion What’s Wrong with my Poster? Explain to your friend what features were needed for a poster and how she could have modified her content to fit the needs of a poster. Revisit pages 14 and 15 for a refresher on the qualities of a well-crafted technical document and for our purposes a poster.

Describe at least two practices you have witnessed (in yourself or others) of the attachment view. How does this contrast wit the traditional view?

Honoring Loved Ones

Class is Human Development

The attachment view of bereavement sees the benefit of maintaining continued bonds with those who have passed (refer to pages 275-278 and Lesson 16). For example, I feel privileged that I have multiple items throughout my house that were passed on to me after relatives’ deaths. They elicit memories and allow me to share their stories. In the television series “This is Us” a daughter’s ritual is to continue the practice of watching the Super Bowl with her father. After his passing, she watches the game while her father’s urn is on the table by her.

Describe at least two practices you have witnessed (in yourself or others) of the attachment view. How does this contrast wit the traditional view? Your post should consist of at least 200 words.
