The Wage GapTopic: Social Activism. In this class, we have talked about the various forms of discrimination: racism, classism, sexism, and heterosexism. Each writer we have read has engaged in some form of participatory citizenship and activism: whether it was in penning their article or participating in a movement for social change. Consider then, with which issue are you most engaged and concerned- and what does it challenge in society?
INSTRUCTIONS: Read Yoshitaka Inoue’s article “Consciousness as Reflected in Images of the Vampire”. Using your knowledge of citation systems, identify what style guide he is following. Then, choose three in-text citations, and three full references and explain how to convert them into MLA formatting. For each example you should
1) explain what formatting he is using and how you can make this determination,
2) explain how you would convert the citation or full reference to MLA style, and
3) provide that converted rendering. In a short paragraph you must also answer the question: why are there different citation systems, and why are they applicable to different disciplines of study?
