Currently we have 160 patients with Non-Alcoholic Fatty liver disease.
And none of these have recorded in their records an annual fatty liver review.
As per the NICE recommendations above;
LFT Blood test, weight, BP, alcohol use, and either Fib4 score or NAFLD score.
We are not meeting this need standard currently.
Would need to discuss barriers for getting this done; patient engagement, recall process, need for a blood test specifically for this purpose as blood value for fibrosis score required (AST) not on routine bloods
Want to also discuss health promotion in terms of lifestyle, diet, exercises, weight loss, alcohol intake as relevant to NAFLD

Develop a major case study of Health Care Management issues, problems, and polices in a current organization, most often your own. The case study draws from previous courses as issues are identified, analyzed, and discussed. Please see the attached template for details regarding what the Case Study must contain. Your case study MUST follow this template.
Requirements for Case Study
Problem identification, analysis, and recommendations for action should be supported by facts gathered through research. Data from the documents of the selected organization should be gathered, included, analyzed, and interpreted in the case study. Sources might include interviews, publications, reports, etc. Be very aware of proprietary information!
The problems, impacts of the problems, and solutions to the problems must be stated clearly and thoroughly in business and healthcare administration terminology. Root cause analysis or similar methodology should be employed to clarify issues.
The case study should draw on the lessons learned in at least three (3) OU courses. You may use textbooks and other course materials from previous courses as reference sources.
The case study should focus on at least three (3) health care management issues and provide at least two (2) (no more than three) possible solutions, applied either individually or as a collective approach. As most management issues and solutions are related, this should not be difficult.
The case problem/analysis should be approximately 10 double-spaced, typewritten pages (in Times New Roman 12 pt font), it must be clear and concise, and it must be formatted using APA style. It should be written as if it is to be presented to the organization being studied.
