1). These are the meta questions: Why was Covid so bad here?
2). Why did more Latinos than other race/ethnic groups die from Covid?

Describe where you believe Chris Cuomo has violated or acted outside the behavior listed in the various Codes of Ethics. Specifically, what action did he take or not take and what specific code states that the behavior was of questionable ethics?

Code of Ethics

Write an analysis of the traditional reference point for Journalism Ethics: Codes of Conduct. In such an increasingly complex environment of shifting definitions of Truth and appropriate conduct, Ethical Codes of Ethical Behavior are increasingly important. For this final assignment we will look at, and reflect on, different examples of Ethics Codes of Conduct as they apply to a current Journalistic scandal.
Look at various examples of Codes of Ethics.
https://www.spj.org/ethicscode.asp

Read the following description of various Codes of Ethics
https://www.fourthestate.org/journalism-ethics-codes/

Then review the recent Fall From Grace by CNN’s former Primetime Anchor Chris Cuomo here:
https://dailyfreepress.com/2021/12/05/seen-on-tv-lessons-from-the-downfall-of-the-cuomo-brothers/ & here,

Now find at least two other sources of information that discusses the behavior of Chris Cuomo regarding his brother’s problems (Remember, we are looking at Chris Cuomo, the CNN anchor, not the aledged transgressions of former Governor Andrew Cuomo in this assignment.)

Now, submit the following:
Look back and draw specific parallels in the various tenets listed in the various Journalism Ethics Codes and the actions of CNN anchor Chris Cuomo. In a brief but well-structured essay of 375 words, describe where you believe Chris Cuomo has violated or acted outside the behavior listed in the various Codes of Ethics. Specifically, what action did he take or not take and what specific code states that the behavior was of questionable ethics? Give at least three examples.

Finally, present your best argument as to why Chris Cuomo should every be hired – or never be hired – as a Journalist again. If you see comparisons with other ethical lapses by Journalists in other examples, include them as well.
Proofread your work for proper academic structure, grammar and spelling, and – or course -be sure to include proper attribution for all materials you quote or reference, with endnotes or a works cited list.

Do you think things have changed based on the way Juan Williams left the popular Fox show? Should Juan Williams have stayed on the show if he were permitted to, participating from Washington DC? Why do you think Williams was on the program to begin with? Do you feel having Williams on the show reduced the bias of the programs coverage of the news?

Discussion 2

Read This Politico Article from last May: (https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2021/05/31/juan-williams-fox-leaving-the-five-491424)
