Based on the citations and penalties provided, prepare a document that lists the citations and penalties you wish to discuss with the area director.

Citation and Notification of Penalty

Instructions
For this assignment, begin by reading the Citation and Notification of Penalty. Next, assume you are the safety director for Acme Widget Factory. Your company recently had an OSHA inspection and received the Notice of Citations and Penalties in the mail.

You managed to schedule an informal conference with the area director at the regional OSHA office 5 days after you received the Notice of Citations and Penalty. Based on the citations and penalties provided, prepare a document that lists the citations and penalties you wish to discuss with the area director.

You should summarize what you are trying to accomplish in regard to each citation/penalty you choose to discuss, to include:
-information you would use to help reduce the proposed citation/penalty to include the proposed action to resolve the issue;
-documents you would take with you to the informal conference; and
-who will accompany you to the meeting and their role.

In addition to the information above, discuss penalties that may be issued if the employer fails to correct a violation in which a citation has been issued.

Explain at least one of the basic legal rights of individuals who are impacted by cyberbullying. Discuss one technique individuals, parents, or businesses can use to protect themselves or their children from cyberbullying. Evaluate at least one ethical issue that parents, schools, or workplaces must consider when implementing a new technique to protect their children, students, and/or staff from cyber bullies.

Cyberbullying presentation

Prior to beginning work on this interactive assignment, please read all of the required resources for this week. Review the instructions below and research a minimum of five additional peer-reviewed and/or scholarly sources in the UAGC Library that were published within the last 10 years to help support your statements.

For this week’s interactive assignment, you will be creating a 5-7 minute video speech presentation related to the topic of cyberbullying. (You may use any video capture software of your choice. A Screencast-O-Matic quick-start guide (Links to an external site.) including the ability to capture your webcam is provided for your convenience.) For your video presentation, prepare talking points that respond to each of the following topics.

Once you have created your talking points, be sure to practice your presentation to ensure that it will meet the time requirements. (This is meant to mirror the more informal presentations that occur in on-ground masters programs. No official PowerPoint or other type of presentation should be created. The ability to speak candidly to these points is what will be evaluated.) Review the Best Practices for Video Creation document prior recording your video.

Once you have created your video, copy and paste the URL into your initial post. In a separate document, prepare a reference list for your sources in APA format as outlined by the UAGC Writing Center (Links to an external site.), and attach the document to your initial post prior to submission.

What cost-benefit analysis would you apply? What steps would you go through? What kinds of data would you need to conduct such an analysis? What financial and human resources would this analysis require? What results would you expect? What cost-effectiveness analysis would you apply?

Cost-Benefit Versus Cost-Effective Analyses

Appraising the value of public policy should include a budgetary assessment. As a professional in the field, you will not only need to perform the assessment but also select how the assessment will be performed.

Because public policies can be expensive, it is important to use economic approaches to better understand the real costs of governmental programs.
This week you will research costs-benefit analysis and cost-effective analysis of the foreign policy and homeland security that you are evaluating.
To inform the stakeholders you identified in Week 2, create a paper detailing the fiscal analysis you deem necessary for gauging the cost of the policy.
Consider the following questions about the policy that you evaluated in Week 2:

• What cost-benefit analysis would you apply?
• What steps would you go through?
• What kinds of data would you need to conduct such an analysis?
• What financial and human resources would this analysis require?
• What results would you expect?
• What cost-effectiveness analysis would you apply?
• What steps would you go through?
• What kinds of data would you need to conduct such an analysis?
• What financial and human resources would this analysis require?
• What results would you expect?

Add a Summary Document for your stakeholders that includes a quick guide table that will be attached to the report you give them in Week 6. Populate the table with the answers to the questions listed above for each cost analysis. See table example attached.

Your supervisor sends you the attached CV and asks you to respond to the prospect assessing them for a subclass 189 visa. Write a comprehensive letter response assessing both the prospect’s eligibility, and likelihood of success of an application for that specific subclass (and no other options), including a points test. Include a list of all assumptions made, and any critical dates the prospect needs to be aware of. Include a recommendation for the prospect as to whether they should proceed with an expression of interest for that subclass.

List any options that might support your client’s application, but keep in mind that all relevant information has been provided – for example, all work experience has been provided. Critically analyse this statement showing good evidence of wider reading and clear evidence of a comparative study.

Shareholder protection mechanism against directors in two or more legal systems

All developed legal systems provide mechanisms designed to protect shareholders from possible abusive behaviours of directors. This has been evidenced by both formal and functional convergence of legal strategies within Company Law over the decades, which has improved shareholder protection against public company boards of directors.

Critically analyse this statement showing good evidence of wider reading and clear evidence of a comparative study.

Prepare a report for the Board of Directors of the company covering the following: • The demarcation between a facilitation payment and bribery. The Board have requested your specific recommendations as to how Resource Development can ensure it does not commit any criminal offences through such payments.

Law

Task 1:
Resource Development plc is a multinational resource extraction company domiciled and headquartered in the UK. It prides itself on being an ethical company and has a zero-tolerance commitment to bribery and corruption (though it has not yet developed a specific anti-bribery policy). Resource Development specialises in the mining of minerals and aggregates for use in large-scale infrastructure projects and employs 250 people across three quasi-autonomous divisions (Technical and Legal; Sales; Marketing and Strategy). Its business model also makes extensive use of local agents and sub-contractors in the territories where it operates, particularly as to the negotiation of mining rights, licences, and import/export fees.

Resource Development is currently considering an expansion of its commercial operations into larger scale mining activities in various African countries. To facilitate this, Resource Development is considering a joint venture with Rare Earth Trading (a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands). Since its incorporation in 2020, Rare Earth Trading has rapidly established itself in the extraction sector and operates in multiple sub-Saharan African countries. Rare Earth Trading boasts a 95% success rate in tenders for mining rights.

You have recently been appointed to the Technical and Legal division at Resource Development and have been asked to prepare a report for the Board of Directors of the company covering the following:
• The demarcation between a facilitation payment and bribery. The Board have requested your specific recommendations as to how Resource Development can ensure it does not commit any criminal offences through such payments.
• An assessment of the Bribery Act risks of expanding its mining operations through a joint venture with Rare Earth Trading (and your recommendations as to how best to address those risks)
