Your previous contributions addressing a variety of important topics outlined in all previous assignments for this course are deemed essential in supporting the business’ overall organizational structure and competitive advantage strategy. It is now time to consider developing your own HR department team to ensure they have the requisite skills and competencies necessary to perform at high levels over time. Effective and motivated HR business partners (HRBP) will be the key to translating HR and business strategy into action. The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Body of Competency and Knowledge (BoCK) can be an invaluable resource to help develop and certify HR professionals. You must now explain to the management team the components of this model and how it can be leveraged to achieve operational success for the HR department. A one-hour meeting has been scheduled, and the CEO will be in attendance.

Create a 20-slide minimum PowerPoint presentation in which you do the following:
Include cover, presentation agenda, conclusion, and reference list slides, all of which may count toward total slide count.

Provide a slide with an overview on the importance of having a highly-developed staff of HR business partners. Be clear with your position. Example: The Evolution of the HR Business Partner Role.

Provide 1–4 slides introducing the SHRM BoCK model and its components. Be sure to highlight each of the areas of the model. Note: It is highly recommended to insert an image of the actual SHRM BoCK model into the presentation.

Include in the remaining slides the following required presentation information:

  • Provide a minimum of three to four bullet points (more if needed) of information or discussion describing the specifics on the SHRM BoCK’s “Behavioral Competencies.”
  • Provide a minimum of three to four bullet points (more if needed) of information or discussion describing the specifics on the SHRM BoCK’s “HR Expertise: Domains 1.”
  • Provide a minimum of three to four bullet points (more if needed) of information or discussion describing the specifics on the SHRM BoCK’s “HR Expertise: Domains 2”
  • Provide a minimum of three to four bullet points (more if needed) of information or discussion describing the specifics on the SHRM BoCK’s “HR Expertise: Domains 3”
  • Provide a minimum of three to four bullet points (more if needed) of information or discussion describing specifics on certifying your HRBPs.

Note 1: You may use your own judgment in determining the the most adequate input for your bullet points if the input is relevant.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:
Have headings for each section with all bulleted information aligned properly and using the same font and size. Text font and size must be consistent throughout presentation.
Use either Arial, Times New Roman, or Calibri as text type. Use 24-28 font size for main headings, 18-20 size for sub-headings, and 16-18 for all other information.
Images may be used but must be professional and relevant to the topic. The source or sources of all images must be credited with both citation and reference. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
Include citations and references for all information received from other sources.

DIPLOMA IN QUALITY AUDITING

Task 251 – Compile Audit Results
For this unit you will be undertaking the process of Reporting on an Audit you have undertaken. A small flow chart has been provided below to help you through the assessment below.
For an Audit you have undertaken complete the following;

  • T251.1 Compare results of the audit evaluation against audit objectives and criteria plan. Briefly explain using 5-9 sentences, if and how the objectives have been met. Consider in your explanation things like, what the outcomes and standards of the objective were to be, description of the types of data observed and collected.
  • T251.2 Explain using 5-9 sentences how you analyse data and audit results. Include in your response things like Statistical analysis, measure sets of data, inferential analysis, qualitative analysis, Critical Analysis, Objective analysis etc.

Task 252 – Prepare Report
Continuing with the Audit you have completed from Task 251, prepare a full report through undertaking the following; (Consider the audit report template provided below if you do not have an Organisation template)

  • T252.1 Produce audit report according to specified audit requirements.
  • T252.2 Provide objective evidence relating to the need for reduction, elimination and prevention of non-conformance. Provide at least 1 evidence piece to support and substantiate your recommendations or any correction action determined. See “Evidence attached: Y/N” aspects of template below.

Task 253 – Present audit report to auditee
Continuing with the Audit you have completed from Task 251, Present the audit report to auditee and other stakeholders. Ensure you include the following; (Consider the audit report template provided below if you do not have an Organisation template to clearly document these things.)

  • T253.1 Determine and initiate any corrective action required to deal with non-conformance, in consultation with auditee. (See various areas of audit report provided)
  • T253.2 Provide suggestions for improvements where applicable. (See various areas of audit report provided)
  • T253.3 Ensure timelines are agreed on for completion of corrective action activities. (See various areas of audit report provided)
  • T253.4 Ensure corrective action follow-up procedures are agreed with auditee. (See various areas of audit report provided)

Managing Human Capital

Section 1: Situation Identification (Abstract and Introduction):

Assessment is by one assignment, a critical essay of 6000 words (100%) which integrates theory and practice. The assignment must include a clear structure with an abstract, a list of references and, where appropriate, appendices and diagrams. You must make appropriate use of journal articles and texts.
