Psychotic treatments used for adolescent experiencing

Summary: You should provide a summary of your dissertation consisting of no more than 300 words. This must include the following subheadings reflecting the chapters in your dissertation:

Chapter One – Background and Rationale Section (Word Limit: 1,000):

You will clearly articulate arguments for why your chosen, focused area of practice is important and may need to be transformed.

In this section you need to identify whether there are already existing, literature or systematic reviews in the area and how these have informed the arguments you are making about the importance of your chosen area of clinical practice and why it may need to be transformed. If there are no existing reviews that you can draw upon, then you will not be penalised for this. Instead, you will need to draw upon other evidence to help support your rationale for focusing on this practice area. A strong argument will include, where relevant, the impact on health, well-being, delivery and efficiency of clinical services and costs (formal and informal).

Chapter Two – Literature Review (Word limit: 5,000):

You will complete a comprehensive literature review related to an area of interest within your scope of practice. The literature review should consist of three sections.

1. Briefly set the scene by identifying the area of practice you are exploring. This will flow from the argument you have presented in your background/rationale section above. You will need to articulate a clear research question for your literature review.

2. Explain how you have searched and retrieved published evidence. You will document your search strategy (including search terms, Boolean operators and databases), your inclusion and exclusion criteria, and how you have arrived at the 8-10 studies you have selected to review.

3. Provide a synthesis and critical appraisal of your 8-10 studies that you are including in the literature review. You will use the Moule (2018) tool to critically appraise your studies. Your critical appraisal must include consideration of ethical principles and best practice. It is important that you apply your writing about ethics to the studies you have reviewed. Your synthesis of the literature will identify relevant themes or issues that cut across the studies you have reviewed. This third section should contain up to 3,000 words.

Programming language, such as JAVA, C, Python, and SQL, are commonly used in electronic health records and databases. Relational databases use structured query language (SQL) programming. SQL statements can be divided into two categories: data manipulation language (DML) and data definition language (DDL). Compare and contrast data manipulation and definition language and provide an example and statement from each category.

Would you respect the cultural practice and not inform a patient about the prognosis? Is there a way for health care providers to balance the patient’s right to know with respect for the cultural practices and beliefs of the family? Is not fully disclosing information to the patient an ethical breach?

Is not fully disclosing information to the patient an ethical breach?

Why do you feel the way you do about the issue presented? Of the four responses offered in the scenario, which do you think is the most ethical and why? Which ethical theory would you use to support your stance? Why does this theory work?

Prenatal Testing Scenario and Reflection

In the scenario assignments, you are asked to reflect on responses to the presented scenario.

See attached scenario, rubric and template ( answer to a few questions mentioned on the template and for the last question please write on word document).

Reflection involves critical thinking, which means rethinking your existing knowledge and previously held opinions in light of what we have learned about theories of ethics, logic, and reasoning. You will need to question your current knowledge and beliefs. Discuss the main points of the debate, what stance you take, support that stance, and discuss the opposing argument. Also, discuss an ethical theory that would apply to defend your view.

To complete each scenario assignment:

1. Complete the entire scenario.

2. Fill out the template attached below,

3. Compose the last question on the template reflection in a Word document and be sure to address, at a minimum, the following questions:

Why do you feel the way you do about the issue presented? Of the four responses offered in the scenario, which do you think is the most ethical and why? Which ethical theory would you use to support your stance? Why does this theory work?

4. Support your conclusions with evidence and specific examples from the textbook, including a minimum of one theory of ethics to defend your stance.

5. Your reflection must be 1 pages in length and follow APA formatting and citation guidelines as appropriate, making sure to cite at least two sources.

6. Review the rubric for specific grading criteria

What are characteristics of a human becoming nurse? What are strengths and weaknesses to this theory of nursing? What challenges exist for healthcare institutions to switch to this nursing approach? How might Parse’s understanding of transcendence guide the nurse, as Ann’s death became a reality to Ben?

Parse’s Human Becoming Theory

Write a 1250-1500 word APA paper addressing each of the following points. Be sure to completely answer all the questions for each bullet point. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Support your ideas with at least two (2) sources and your textbook using citations in your essay. Make sure to cite using the APA writing style for the essay. The cover page and reference page in correct APA do not count towards the minimum word amount. Review the rubric criteria for this assignment.

Case Study
The hospice nurse sat with Ann’s husband, Ben. Ann was resting quietly as the increased dosage of IV pain medication gradually reached its therapeutic level. Ben turned his head and slowly turned, looking out the room’s only window. As he glanced up, a small flicker of light caught his breath. It was a shooting star. A tear fell from the corner of his eye and he turned to Ann. The nurse sensed that something significant to Ann and Ben was unfolding. Shuffling to Ann’s bedside, he took her small fragile hand in his. These hands had rocked cradles, burped babies, and groomed the horses she loved to ride. Gently holding her hand, he turned to the nurse. “She would ride like the wind was chasing her.” Looking back to Ann his voice broke; choking back tears “Ann, Ann I saw Jessie…Jessie is calling.” Ben turned “Jessie was our daughter. She died having a baby that was too big. When she died it was a pitch-black night. Cold, so cold, the baby died too, a little boy, named him Abe, Jr. after Jessie’s husband. I took Ann outside so she could cry to God above and there in this dark sky we saw two falling stars…together…just falling. We knew it had to be Jessie and Abe…two angels to light up the night.” Ben turned back as a deep sigh escaped from Ann’s lips. A soft smile remained as she joined Jessie and Abe.

• Based on this case study how would the nurse actualize Parse’s theory of Human Becoming?

• What are characteristics of a human becoming nurse? What are strengths and weaknesses to this theory of nursing?

• What challenges exist for healthcare institutions to switch to this nursing approach?

• How might Parse’s understanding of transcendence guide the nurse, as Ann’s death became a reality to Ben?
