For this element of the assessment you will critique and explore the delivery of safe and effective care.
You will need to consider an “episode of care” within the context of interprofessional working within mental health.
This assignment will require you to evidence your professional knowledge, values and attributes in the leading, assessing and management of complex care.
Within this assignment you will be expected to support your work with the relevant literature working within academic regulations to produce a quality piece of academic work appropriate to the academic level of the module. (Level 6)

The episode of care means the care given to the an individual. In this situation; it would be a complex care that involves a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and adequate care for the individual involved. For example someone with a mental health condition e.g dementia, schizophrenia, clinical depression, but also have a physical health condition e.g COPD, cancer, cardiovascular disease like angina or chronic pain like arthritis. This case of care will be considered to critique and explore the delivery of safe and effective care, thereby providing response to the 2 learning outcomes.
