What type of renal failure is J. S. developing?

please write one paragraph for each question and the textbook chapter 28 should be used as one of the references.
textbook: Copstead, L. E., & Banasik, J. L. (2013). Pathophysiology. St. Louis, MO: Elsevier.
COLLAPSE

Please refer to Chapter 28 and then answer the questions that follow the case study:

J. S. is 23 years old. He was brought to the emergency department after an auto accident. He suffered a concussion and a deep laceration of his right thigh. He lost about 4 units of blood prior to effective control of bleeding and closure of the wound. Fluid resuscitation is initiated, and a urinary catheter is inserted post operation to monitor his urine output. However, he continues to have significant oozing from his sutured wound.

His 24-hour urine volume is 350 ml with a high urine osmolality and low urine sodium. A coagulation screen results indicate the following: platelet count 250,000, bleeding time and a PTT time are both extended.

What type of renal failure is J. S. developing? Why is this type of renal failure developing?
If J. S. does not receive adequate treatment, what further condition may he develop? Why? What is the best treatment option to prevent this from occurring?
What other laboratory data beside urine output should be collected to evaluate J. S.’s renal function?
If J. S.’s renal function continues to be diminished without any improvement, what could be the subsequent stages of his renal disorder?

Demonstrates appropriate evidence-based group processes and evidence of contribution to the project equally by all group members

From week 4 you will be placed into groups of three to five students, to work on a collaborative project which will culminate in a one-day conference plan with the theme of ‘Quality and Safety’ in nursing.
In this assessment, whilst learning about group processes, you will need to work together collaboratively, effectively and fairly to identify and learn about conference preparation and clinical governance in Quality and Safety in nursing/midwifery.
Allocate the work fairly to ensure that each member has an opportunity to demonstrate the assessment criteria below by providing a clearly identified individual written contribution to the group report, written abstracts, the seminar plan/supporting materials.
Part A
Investigate and write a report on group theory and group processes, identifying group rules, roles, responsibilities, and contributions to the project. In early meetings, students can present on learnings about working in groups (for example rules or communication tips). This is not only to share knowledge but also as a learning experience that all students can participate in during the group meetings. As nurses/midwifes who will soon have a master’s degree and perhaps become future leaders, it is vital to learn how to participate effectively as a member of a group.
Part B
Determine a seminar theme, clearly linking this topic to Quality and Safety in nursing and produce all of the following:
• Conference abstracts for the seminar presentations, each no more than 500 words in length including references, both in cite (in text) and reference list (two abstracts per student),
• a seminar plan/program,
• an evaluation form,
• conference flyer.
The project outcome will be the development of a group report and a program for a day-long conference on the topic of ‘Quality and Safety’ in nursing’.
The assignment will be submitted as a single group paper, by one allocated group member. Each student will also submit their own copy of the final assessment (once the original group project has been submitted). Each student will also submit a peer assessment of their own performance and their students/ colleagues’ performance and contributions to the task.
All members of the group will receive an individual grade commensurate with their contributions, as determined by both the group and the marker.
(NB: Students allocated to the group who do not contribute to the project will not receive a mark for this assignment).
Assessment Criteria
Standard descriptors for these criteria are included in the assessment rubric, located in the Assessment 2 folder in MyLO.
A template for peer assessment is also available in this folder

Examine the evidence supporting a clinical topic and critically appraise the evidence to underpin the evidence based practice, including a discussion of factors that may inhibit the implementation of the evidence base.
The Introduction
Introduce the research question (Effects of falls prevention interventions on falls outcomes for hospitalised adults) and highlight any lack of evidence in the literature

Research question
Rationale for asking this question-why are you asking this? Is there a lack of evidence in the existing literature?
Introduce how you formulated your question (the question already formulated – in red)
You must use PICO/PEO to clearly define your question (can be adjusted to a group of patients up to writers choice but clearly stated in introduction)
Aims and objectives of this review

Methodology
You need to look at the evidence base for your chosen topic. This will require good literature searching skills and a clear account of the search strategy you used. 6-15 papers are recommended.
Describe search terms used
Inclusion/Exclusion criteria

Results of the search strategy
Describe your findings and use a table to depict results and place in appendices

Quality Appraisal
Use an appraisal tool to appraise the papers you have selected. Put this information in your appendices and refer to it.
Mention bias in terms of research methodology for the papers you have selected

Summary and synthesis of the papers
What are the main points of the literature in relation to your research question?
Are there any themes coming through? Is there a reliance on particular areas?

Issues of Implementation
For the last quarter of the assignment (roughly) you are encouraged to use a framework such as PARIHS to explore issues of implementation.

Conclusion
Complete the essay with a brief conclusion drawing together the key ideas that specifically answered your research question and finally the implication of your findings for practice.

Above all make sure you are being critical in a structured and logical way
