Quantitative and Qualitative research

This week, you will submit summaries of quantitative and qualitative studies. The purpose of this assignment is to become familiar with published research, research designs, and methodologies. For the assignment, you will select two original or primary research studies: one quantitative research study and one qualitative study related to the field of nursing. You will write an abstract of each study.

The selected articles should be original research studies.
Review articles, concept analysis, meta-analysis, meta-synthesis, integrative review, and systemic review should NOT be used.
Mixed-methods studies should not be used.

Assignment Instructions:

Your abstracts should begin with the APA Style reference to the research article that is reviewed
Your abstracts should be written in your own words. (The abstracts within the studies your choose will not answer all of the assignment questions.)
Your abstracts should be accurate, brief, clear, between 150–250 words, and include only the most essential information.
Use current APA Style to format your paper and to cite your sources.
You are required to attach both research studies (the full articles) that you use to write your abstracts.The original research study articles may be copied onto a Word document or saved in a PDF format.

NOTE: Because submission of the original articles is part of the assignment requirements and is necessary for grading, any assignment submitted without the accompanying articles will be considered incomplete. An incomplete assignment will be initially assigned a zero. The student has the opportunity to submit articles to complete the assignment. However, if these are submitted after the due date and time, the late penalty will apply. After five days, submissions will not be accepted per University policy, and the grade will remain a zero.

Write a Policy Paper that makes a specific policy recommendation for some element of Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP). The paper should be addressed to Canada’s Minister for International Cooperation. You will adopt the position of a ‘policy analyst’ for the (imaginary) Winnipeg University Institute for a Just World (WUIJW), and address one or more of the action priorities of the FIAP (generally, or in relation to a specific country/region). Step Two: Policy Position/Paper Outline. An outline of the paper, consisting of the opening paragraph (which sets the topic, its importance, and the core of the policy position) and a bibliography of at least five sources. Research the institution you are representing, and its documents and policies. Research other institutions’ positions on this issue. Prepare a outline (~300-400 words) which describes your policy issue, the acting development agency, a tentative thesis statement / preliminary policy recommendation, PLUS a working bibliography (8-10 scholarly/social science sources, i.e. academic or policy journal articles, books, or government or international institution documents).

This report is much better than before with comparion of security features of different communication platforms for remote work.

Here are some improvements needed:

  1. The objectives in Introduction should clearly and accurately emphasize cybersecurity for working remotely  and focus on security of video communication to be consistent with your later discussions.
  2. Rewrite and should identify various information security risks related to remote work to be relevant to your objectives and focus. Cite the sources of your findings.
  3. Section III should be renamed “Methodology” and identify and briefly describe the communication platforms you have selected for comparison – Zoom, Google Meet, Teams in a new subsection C.

Subsection B. Workplace Security should be rewritten and focus on communication and data security for remote work.
