First a word of clarification: the point of this assignment is to demonstrate competency in the 22 processes. That being said, when discussing each process, there are two primary objectives:
Describe the process in good detail so that the person reading it can understand what it is without having to do further research.
Describe how the process applies in a real-world scenario.
For further clarification, the St. Dismas study is there to give you something to evaluate and reference when writing about each of the 22 processes. If you have another case study that you can find that is better, feel free to use it. Your draft essays should also help to fill in a lot of the blanks. There have been many space-related diplomatic challenges facing the United States since the dawn of the Space Age in the 1950s.
