Executive Order 12333, United States Intelligence Activities is the executive order that directs the IC’s authority to conduct Intelligence activities. The ODNI is the IC’s lead for Intelligence oversight.  The Office of General Counselthe IC Inspector General, and the Office of Civil Liberties, Privacy and Transparency all have delegated responsibilities to ensure that ODNI is in accordance with the Constitution and other laws, regulations, executive orders and directives or policies.
