What do you think Achebe means by “literature of celebration?”
The theme of “exile” is as ancient as literature itself and prevalent throughout literary history. Describe at least one other example that you know, recalling stories you are familiar with, from the classics to contemporary storytelling. Don’t limit yourself to the traditional form (novel, memoir, etc.). Think outside the traditional forms to consider other forms, especially contemporary ones, e.g., graphic novel, video game, TV/film, etc.
