Why does terrorism exist? Are there any effective ways to stop it?

Terrorism

One of the biggest threats in the world today is terrorism. In practice, terrorism has been around for centuries, but ever since the 1970s, it has become a major feature in the world. In response to the attacks of September 11th, the United States has waged a “global war on terrorism” with mixed success.

For this paper answer BOTH of the following questions
1. Why does terrorism exist?
2. Are there any effective ways to stop it?

How significant a threat do you view agroterrorism as broader subset of biological terrorism? Where in the food chain is this attack most likely to occur?

Create a presentation aimed at training faculty about instructional strategies that can be used to support diverse learners; promote engagement, reflection, and critical thinking; and integrate innovative digital learning environments.

Instructional Strategies Presentation

Exam Content

Instructional strategies can be considered the vehicle for delivering instruction to help students achieve learning goals. Every teacher in every classroom is responsible for promoting student learning, and in order to do this, a teacher must have an “instructional strategy tool belt” of sorts, to utilize the most appropriate instructional strategy when teaching a lesson or concept. With classrooms being a dynamic environment that bring together students from different backgrounds with varying abilities and personalities, using creative and innovative teaching strategies is a must.

Assessment Deliverable
Imagine you have just attended an education conference and your principal has asked you to present at the next faculty meeting about what you learned. For this assessment, you will create a presentation aimed at training faculty about instructional strategies that can be used to support diverse learners; promote engagement, reflection, and critical thinking; and integrate innovative digital learning environments.

Create an 8- to 12-slide presentation, with detailed speaker notes, in which you do the following:
Describe and provide examples of the following types of instructional strategies:
Teacher-centered (direct) instructional strategies
Student-centered (indirect) instructional strategies
Differentiation strategies for diverse learners, such as English learners or exceptional learners
Instructional strategies for promoting student engagement
Questioning strategies for promoting student and teacher reflection
For each type of instructional strategy listed above, identify and describe 1 or 2 technology tools or resources to support these strategies.

Consider creating your presentation in Microsoft® PowerPoint®, Google Slides™, Prezi®, or another presentation tool approved by your instructor.

In your presentation, include a title slide and a references slide for any sources cited. Add graphics or images to make it visually appealing.

Cite sources in APA format. Visit the Center for Writing Excellence for information and examples of APA-formatted templates.

Submit your presentation.

Identify an issue that you would like to address on a family, community or organizational level and write it above the Medicine Wheel.

Medicine Wheel

Identify an issue that you would like to address on a family, community or organizational level and write it above the Medicine Wheel.

This issue should be expressed in systemic, non-blaming terms. The issue may relate to colonization, but it doesn’t have to.

Three examples:

  • “We have difficulty communicating about issues related to power and decisions.”
  • “Undocumented families are afraid to report crimes in our neighborhood.”
  • “LGBTQ individuals feel they cannot be themselves in our school.”

Most students will create a case from the field or you can find one online or from the case study book. Also, you are given a few examples of some issues that work well.
