Identify the boys’ strategies for each of 3 goals you identified
What are the boys’ theories underlying each of the strategies that they employed?
Provide a sample of what you might say to the boys if you were seated next to them during this activity to engage in a ‘high level’ conversation. Specifically, what would you say to address their underlying theories? Write down this sample conversation as your answer this item and explain your response.
Finally, reflect on you language response and identify if you’ve used a particular teacher strategy to engage with the boys. If so, identify the strategy. If not, how might you change your language response and the conversation to make use of one or more of these teacher strategies?
