Essay 3

In a 5-6 page formal essay with a thesis statement, describe the author’s perspective, philosophyauthor , or purposes and explain how it is reflected in their work. You must also discuss a second work by this author that we have not read in class. You will likely want to provide an explanation and discussion of an author’s commentary or interview and then demonstrate how this theme is explored through the use of literary concepts in one or more of their works.

In this section you will describe how white light is a mixture of individual colors (including the three primary colors of light), how wavelength relates to the color of light, spectral power distribution (SPD) and how it was measured, and the meaning of color temperature (including its application in the lighting industry and photography). Using the data collected, including the SPD graphs, describe any trends shown by the data, and especially how color temperature and SPD are related. Look at where the peak wavelengths are on the SPDs and compare them to the color temperature for that light source. Briefly summarize the major findings and conclusions from Part 1, and provide recommendations for future studies. List references (two or three is sufficient) in standard format (MLA or APA).
