The SLP assignments for this course ask you to review a case study from Community College Leadership: A Multidimensional Model for Leading Change by Eddy (2010).

Review the case study “Changing Image and Culture: Rogue Community College,” located in Appendix B on pages 183 – 185. Respond to the following questions:

Part 1:

Compose a meaningful, but a brief essay that identifies and discusses ONE (1) specific current/modern issue (social, political, religious, domestic, or foreign or some combination) that they believe BEST illustrates many of the concepts and principles of prejudice discussed in Chapter 11 of the required textbook. Fully explain why you identified this specific issue and how it illustrates prejudice and its related ideas. Additionally, discuss how the prejudice exemplified by the issue you chose can best be alleviated or solved for the better.

Aggression is a part of everyone’s experience and is the subject of this exercise. It is becoming a serious social problem in American society while the causes are not well understood.
