Task To successfully complete this assignment, the student must successfully answer all the questions associated with following case study. The answers must be backed up by quantitative data when available. Some online research will be required to complete this assignment.

The patient has changed his eating habits over the past 6 months. He started to control the amount of calories he consumed and kept it below 3000 kcal/day. He got a membership at the local gym, but due to his busy schedule he wasn’t been able to spend much time working out and expresses that he “maybe goes once a week”. The writing assignment will demonstrate writing across the curriculum by responding to the following topic in a 750 – 1250 words (3 – 5 pages of content/body) paper. Your paper must integrate at least three external references. Your paper must be formatted according to APA 6th edition. Use the template and refer to APA Resources attached below.

Save your document as “LastnameFirstinitial-FINC300-8”. Submit your paper by Day 7 (Sunday), 11:55 pm ET.

Note that your attached paper will automatically be submitted to Turnitin, and an Originality Report should be sent back to the classroom within around 15 minutes. The Originality report does not actually recommend changes. It does point out where you may need to add a citation or quotation marks (if not already cited). Once you use it a few times, you will appreciate this tool, as it will assist you in improving quality and content, as well as avoid plagiarism. Your goal is to keep direct quotations to a minimum and to make sure that you do not just cut and paste material. Ensure that all your references are cited. A report with a similarity index less than 25% is acceptable for undergraduate level work.

Refer to Case: Shirley Ng. You are the career coach at the career center.  How would you intervene and help if you were to work with Shirley? What has happened to her

Tony lives with his wife, Shirley, and two children (a boy at age 5 and a girl at 7).  The couple purchased their 4-room flat shortly after they were married, and they put a great deal into what Tony calls their ‘dream house’.

Since giving birth to the younger son, Shirley has quit her job as an account clerk. She stays at home as a full-time wife and mother. Shocked by the news that her husband has lost his job, the idea of returning to the workforce has surfaced in her mind. Tony disagrees to her idea as he is concerned about the schooling and caring for the children.

One day Shirley passed by a Career Connects career center.  She decided to take a bold step. She walked in wanting to talk to someone and to find out if there are any useful services, information, and resource.

Write a brief analysis essay, taking a record apart and showing how its pieces work together to create a unique effect. Mix and match observations regarding musical and lyrical voice, characterization, point of view, imagery, structure, setting or theme.

The Assignment: Write a brief analysis essay, taking a record apart and showing how its pieces work together to create a unique effect. Mix and match observations regarding musical and lyrical voice, characterization, point of view, imagery, structure, setting or theme, but be sure to illustrate each clearly and show how they work together in a precise way. Seek to offer a thesis or central focus that shows how this analysis deepens your understanding of the record as a whole. Your essay will be evaluated based upon the strength of the central focus (its significance, originality and insight) as well as your effective use of specific support to clearly reveal this focus.

It’s probably useful to caution you against spreading yourself too thin. If you focused simply on three different aspects of the structure of the record or three different sonic images, you might have more success diving deep into the record than someone who tries to cover a wide range of observations. Small things can be used to draw large, precise conclusions, while too many large points can lead to simplistic, general observations.
