Consider Gloria and Lakeisha’s different approaches to the project. On which one of the Big 5 personality traits do they most differ?

As you continue to practice the psychological concepts you’re learning in this course, you’re honing the problem solving and self and social awareness skills that will help you navigate social situations in your life and career. You’re discovering how to apply these skills to understand the behaviors of others, improve your relationships, and make informed decisions based on reliable information.
And no matter what kind of situation you encounter at school, home, or work, you’re learning how to recognize and manage your emotions so they don’t get the best of you!
Now, it’s time to practice the skills and concepts to help your friend Gloria navigate a difficult workplace situation.
Case Study and Questions
Gloria and Lakeisha are co-workers who are assigned to work on a project together. Lakeisha is very organized and wants them to do really well on this project. To help them get started, Lakeisha took some initiative and prepared a list of to-do items along with due dates. She even color-coded the list to indicate which partner will do each item and sends an email to Gloria with the to-do list. Lakeisha wants her partner to know that she’s serious about their success.
Gloria is happy her teammate has shown initiative but is surprised by Lakeisha’s to-do list and feels a bit uncomfortable because she feels like Lakeisha is micromanaging her. Gloria wants to do her part on the project but is feeling anxious because she doesn’t know where she fits in, and it is making her worried about working on this project. She wonders how she can succeed on this project if Lakeisha is already the leader. When working for a previous employer, Gloria felt anxious about her ability to successfully complete a project and attempted to communicate her feelings with a co-worker; however, her co-worker didn’t seem to understand Gloria’s concerns and said that she should just ignore her feelings and get the work done.
As Gloria ponders having a conversation with Lakeisha, she starts to feel overwhelmed and thinks it might just be easier to be removed from the project. Using your problem solving and self and social awareness skills and what you have learned about personality traits and emotions, answer the questions below to help Gloria calm her anxiety and find a solution to her problem:
1. From Chapter 3 in the webtext, what did you learn about the big 5 personality traits?
2. Consider Gloria and Lakeisha’s different approaches to the project. On which one of the Big 5 personality traits do they most differ? How do they differ?
3. Chapter 6 in the webtext focused on emotions. Using what you learned, give advice to Gloria on how she can identify and regulate her own emotions so that she can stick with this project, and be successful.
4. If you were in this situation, how confident are you that you could successfully resolve a workplace conflict like the one that Gloria faced? What past experiences or knowledge influence your answer

Click Registered Nurses.
View the report.
Click the Custom tab at the top of the page. (Note: You will customize/select your own job analysis specifics based on the job and person-based specifics.)
Check the appropriate boxes (see below for required information).
Click GO.
Once the data is collected, complete an eight- to ten-slide PowerPoint presentation about the job-based and person-based structure needed for the registered nurse’s position.

The following information should be identified in the PowerPoint presentation:

education,
credentials,
KSAs,
tasks,
work activities and detailed work activities,
technology skills,
tools used,
wages, and
an explanation of what a job analysis is and its purpose.
As you create the content slides for your presentation, be sure to use the speaker notes function to explain the content in detail for each of the slides. Imagine you are presenting to your company leaders.

Note: Keep the 6×6 PowerPoint rule in mind (i.e., slides should only include six to seven lines of content with no more than six to seven words per line). Any illustrations should relate to the content being discussed. Be creative!

Include a title slide and references slide in your presentation; however, please keep in mind that these do not count toward meeting the minimum slide requirement.

Write an essay in which you will apply safety and health-related theory and technology to address environmental issues.

In this unit, we summarized all of the concepts you learned throughout the course, tying everything together.

For this assignment, you will write an essay in which you will apply safety and health-related theory and technology to address environmental issues. Please include the components listed below in your essay.

Discuss the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental Technology Verification Program as discussed in the assigned article by Ashley, Waits, Hartzell, and Harten (2005). Discuss ammonia and mercury monitoring specifically.
Provide an equation used for computing water flow rate from pipe diameter. Describe the application and variables in the equation.
Explain two methods for treating water.
Explain two features of a solid waste landfill.
Describe two hazardous waste onsite remediation technologies.
Explain the purpose of an electrostatic precipitator and the air pollutants that it removes, and show an equation used to determine its efficiency.
Provide the equation used to compute SPL (in dB) from sound pressure in µbars. If a bulldozer emits a sound level of 90 dBA, what is the sound level (dBA) of two bulldozers next to each other?
Discuss your favorite part of the course.

Define the different environments you expect the databases to be working in and the security policies applicable.

Please review the Steps 1-3 document that I have included. Write this paper as a continuation of the first three steps. Please be sure to include in-text citations where required. The more the better.
Step 4: Describe Defense Models
Now that you have established security standards for the RFP, you will define the use of defense models. This information is important since the networking environment will have numerous users with different levels of access.
Provide requirements in the RFP for the vendor to state its overall strategy for defensive principles. Explain the importance of understanding these principles. To further your understanding, click the link and read the resources that I provided you.
Read the resources on enclave computing environment that I provided you.:
Explain how enclave computing relates to defensive principles. The network domains should be at different security levels, have different levels of access, and different read and write permissions.
Define enclave computing boundary defense.
Include enclave firewalls to separate databases and networks.
Define the different environments you expect the databases to be working in and the security policies applicable.
Step 5: Provide a Requirement Statement for System Structure
In the previous step, you identified defense requirements for the vendor. In this step of the RFP, you will focus on the structure of the system.
Provide requirement statements for a web interface to:
1. Allow patients and other health care providers to view, modify, and update the database.
2. Allow integrated access across multiple systems.
3. Prevent data exfiltration through external media.
State these requirements in the context of the medical database.
In the next step, you will outline operating system security components.
Step 6: Provide Operating System Security Components
In this step, you will provide the operating system security components that will support the database and the security protection mechanisms.
Read these resources on operating system security. Then:
1. Provide requirements for segmentation by operating system rings to ensure processes do not affect each other.
2. Provide one example of a process that could violate the segmentation mechanism. Ensure your requirement statements prevent such a violation from occurring.
Specify requirement statements that include a trusted platform module (TPM), in which a cryptographic key is supplied at the chip level. In those specifications:
1. Describe the expected security gain from incorporating TPM.
2. Provide requirement statements that adhere to the trusted computing base (TCB) standard.
3. Provide examples of components to consider in the TCB.
4. Provide requirements of how to ensure protection of these components, such as authentication procedures and malware protection.
Read the resources on trusted computing that I provided you.

Identify the company that you will study and explain how it meets the criteria provided above, and why you think you will learn the most from it, and have the most fun analyzing it.

Please follow the style of writing attached SF005 as the writer who assisted me before is no longer there ***Part one of a two part assignment*** This assignment follows in line as a capstone assignment from my order 7433610711 Strategic Situation Analyses.
Think of yourself as a paid consultant who has been hired to: diagnose long-term and/or cross-functional problems in organizational performance, identify long-term opportunities, and recommend solutions and strategic pathways to improve long-term organizational health.
Keep in mind that as a consultant your opinion doesn’t matter. Your fee is based on an integrated, documented, and strong analysis that offers recommendations based on the application of relevant information.
It is important that you put together a cogent, clear analysis that can help you explain the root causes of the problems and propose solutions, using concepts from the documents provided and other relevant concepts based on the knowledge you reference to support your arguments.
Follow the steps below to create your “Strategy Playbook for Exceptional Results.”
This assessment has two parts. Click each of the items below to complete this assessment.
Part I: Company Selection and Approval
The first step in creating your strategy playbook is to select an appropriate company or organization for your study. You must select a publicly traded company that has more than 100 employees. Ideally, you should select an organization that you are very familiar with and/or very passionate about.
Review the “Capstone Strategy Playbook for Exceptional Results: Description” and “Strategy Playbook Organizational Selection Process Flowchart” documents. These documents present a general description of the strategy playbook and review the process and limitations for selecting a company or organization to analyze for you strategy playbook.
Consider the following suggestions when selecting the company:
You may want to study your current organization if it is publicly traded. (All names of people would be disguised.)
You may want to study a direct competitor of your current company that is publicly traded, and apply lessons learned as appropriate.
You may want to study an exemplary company where you could use your analysis to model a new business start-up you are considering.
You may want to study a failing company, and analyze what you think are the root causes of the failure and offer strategies for an effective turn-around.
Be sure to choose an organization/industry that you are genuinely interested in and will commit to studying. Remember, it is likely that no one company or organization will be a perfect selection. So, log into the Walden Library and explore what information is available about your target company. (Note: You have done work finding and analyzing annual reports earlier in the program, so you can start there if you are planning to study a publicly traded company.)
There are a variety of databases and resources available that can help you with your research. Explore them to find the most effective ones. Since you are working with a public company, the Hoovers database is a good place to start. Remember that research and information literacy are two important MBA program level skills that you are expected to demonstrate.
Write a summary of your selection as follows:
Identify the company that you will study and explain how it meets the criteria provided above, and why you think you will learn the most from it, and have the most fun analyzing it.
Confirm that you have access to annual reports and other information about the company at the Hoover’s, Business Source Complete, or other relevant source within the Walden Library.
Your summary should be approximately 200 words in length.
Note: I must submit Part I to the professor for approval

Develop a clearly differentiated marketing mix for each of the target markets identified in Task 2.

According to De Las Casas, why were the Spanish so cruel to the natives?

Please answer the following questions in a single paragraph each:
1. According to De Las Casas, why were the Spanish so cruel to the natives? What was the point?
2. According to De Las Casas, did any of the natives ever fight back? If so, why? If not, why not?
3. De Las Casas wrote this account 50 years after Columbus initially arrived in Hispaniola. Do you think this could have influenced his perceptions of the events? How and why? What happens when someone writes about an event after most of the consequences of an event are already known?

Decide whether Rachels has come up with a culture-neutral standard, and support your answer with reasons.

In section 11.2, Rachels proposes what he claims is a culture-neutral standard, which will allow people of any culture to morally assess the social practices of a particular culture.

Rachels’ standard (summarized by me) is this:

A social/cultural practice is good if it is beneficial to the people who are affected by it, and is bad if it is harmful to the people who are affected by it. (144)

By calling this standard “culture-neutral”, Rachels, in effect, is claiming that people of all cultures can agree on whether a given social practice is harmful or beneficial to the people who are affected by it.

Your philosophical task: assess Rachels’ claim by considering the following points:

  • do all cultures agree on whether a given practice is “beneficial” or “harmful” to a given person – e.g., to a person who is being punished, or to the people in their culture?
  • do all cultures agree on which people are affected by a certain practice (such as punishment by death for having a child out of wedlock or other practices)?
  • how do your answers affect your assessment of Rachels’ standard?

Decide whether Rachels has come up with a culture-neutral standard, and support your answer with reasons. Feel free to use examples of cultural practices from Rachels Chapter 11 or from other sources.

In Chapter 12, Rachels presents Glaucon’s challenge, in which Glaucon asks:

Why should we care about doing what is right?

Rachels then goes on to consider various answers to this question. These include:

  • two religious replies (The Divine Command Theory and Immanuel Kant’s reply)
  • two secular replies (The Social Contract Theory and Utilitarianism).

Rachels argues that none of these replies is fully adequate, and so Glaucon’s challenge remains.

Then in the lecture, we consider one further response to Glaucon’s question, namely an answer given by Socrates, and we pose a skeptical question about it (re: finding a bag of money).

Your task:

  • Consider these five answers to Glaucon’s challenge, and decide which one seems to you strongest.
  • State your choice, and make a case that the answer you have chosen is fully adequate, by defending it against the point(s) brought against it. For example, if you choose to argue that The Divine Command Theory is a fully adequate reply to Glaucon, state this choice and then reply to the objections that Rachels raises to this theory.

Develop a plan for dealing with an increase in online course attendance, and then explain your plan to overcome technical challenges as a result of the increase.

Assessing leadership challenges is an important function within public administration. Leading public agencies comes with certain risks and challenges that can affect service quality and delivery. For this assignment, you are a public administrator at the Small Business Administration (SBA); you will create a newsletter article for distribution to the general public that promotes some of the courses in the Learning Center that are available to the public.
The senior executive has announced new upcoming SBA contracts and grant funding in a congressional testimony, and since then your agency has been receiving an influx of emails, letters, and phone calls about the various SBA programs and processes. These inquires have created an operating challenge for the agency because there are not enough employees to attend to these requests. Create a newsletter that informs the public of the courses available through the SBA portal that can help answer their questions. Ensure your newsletter includes the following:
Explain the purpose of the SBA Learning Center.
Provide an overview of SBA’s grants and contract vehicles.
Describe some of the courses available to the public.
Develop a plan for dealing with an increase in online course attendance, and then explain your plan to overcome technical challenges as a result of the increase.
