Alleged computer hacker Gary McKinnon of the United Kingdom has publicly admitted to compromising computer systems belonging to NASA and the Department of Defense. Using information from your classroom, additional materials provided by your instructor, and your own independent research, discuss the impact of these widespread intrusions and comment on McKinnon’s self-proclaimed motivations. Describe McKinnon in the context of the frameworks and theories of cyber-crime and cybercriminals discussed in the classroom. Are the efforts to extradite McKinnon to the United States simply a political stunt, or are they an important precedent in prosecuting international cyber-crimes? Finally, share what you know about computer security and best practices to make recommendations to prevent similar incidents in the future. Your submission should be a minimum of four pages in length, and it should conform to APA formatting and citation standards.

Because the attachments are in a PDF format, I have copied their citation/references from the website for your use. Below are the references/citations for those pdf attachments. As always, thank you very much for being such a great, detailed, and diligent Writer. I appreciate it.

• Products similar to Screencast-O-Matic such as SimpleScreenRecorder, Jing, or others described at the following website: https://alternativeto.net/software/screencast-o-matic/
After you record the video share the link in the discussion, watch your own video and write a short paper telling us the following:
1. What tool did you use to record your video? Include the link to your video.
2. What was the most difficult task to accomplish this assignment?
3. What can you do to improve future short research presentations?

Apply elementary descriptive statistics, probability theories and quantitative methods in business in business decision making under risk and uncertainty.
For the applied assignment, please submit a 5-6 slide PPT (NOT including title page and references page) that includes the following parts:
PART 1: Create a context: Introduce a real-world business situation or an imagined business scenario that may benefit from the theories and methods presented in the prior two weeks (Weeks 3 and 4 – see the objective stated in bold above). While creating the context, ask yourself: What business use cases may benefit from the quantitative methods offered last week and this week? Pick one. You can use Google or other search tools, or your own workplace experience, to create the context. Once you decide on the context, describe it clearly in your PPT presentation. Be sure to deliver all relevant information for the audience (in this case your instructor) to help him/her understand the context fully.
Part 2: Show with examples how the quantitative methodology introduced in the prior two weeks relate to the business use case you introduced. (e.g., does the math/methodology help to resolve a business problem?) Be specific in your description of how you can use the quantitative information in connection with the business case (your context) you described. Give examples. Use technical terminology when necessary.
Part 3: Reflect on your learning by answering these questions: What changes have you observed in your own learning or knowledge of math/quantitative methods as a result of the topics introduced in Weeks 3 and 4 of this course? What did you find most valuable or useful for your MBA education and/or your current/future career. (As you articulate your thoughts for Part 3, be original: Do not repeat the business context or situation you described in Parts 1 and 2. Think beyond that context).
As you learned this week, the government can enact the concept of eminent domain and “take” private property so long as it is for the “public use” and the owner is justly compensated. This concept is hotly contested and often results in a clash between property owners and the government. Developers and businesses generally like the concept of eminent domain and really attempt to stretch the term “public use” in order to expand business. In 2005 the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) decided in Kelo v. New London by a narrow margin of 5-4 that city’s taking of private property to sell for private development qualified as a “public use” within the meaning of the takings clause.
In your assignment this week please explain why the court got this correct AND explain why the court was wrong. Lastly, if you were the 10th justice how would you vote and why?
