Present a business case for an existing business starting a finance company for the products it currently sells.

The existing business (Company A) is well funded and currently has 250 million of its sales (equipment) being financed by an outside finance company on a yearly basis. Company A has beginning free cash of 25 million to finance existing customers in future purchases. The goal would be to finance 10% of all credit worthy customers and send 90% of those customers remaining business to existing Finance company to diversify risk.
Example:
If “Customer A” buys 1 Million dollars of equipment a year, then new Finance Company would finance 100K and send remaining 900K to outside finance company.

New Finance Company would be set up as an LLC, with 33.33 % ownership between Individual A, Individual B and the existing Company A. Company A would provide all capital but individual A and B would provide all “sweat equity”. Due to the competitive nature of the finance business the interest rates that new Finance Company could charge range between 3.5% up to 9%, with associated risk determining return. The new Finance company would like to risk spread to be 75% low risk (low return), 15% Mid risk (mid return) and 10% high risk (high return).

Expenses are projected to be administrative only. All regulatory documentation should be included in the Business Plan. LLC will be domiciled in State of Mississippi.

What are the main ways in which people of different races, genders and class are depicted on the news?

The News Analysis Essay is an examination of media messages, with a focus on the news.  We often get our information about current events on social media, watching/listening to the news, or by reading the news websites.  How does our media environment shape our attitudes? This essay will help us to look at this question. This essay is worth 25% of the final grade.

    3.  How are people of different races presented in the stories you chose to describe?  Which people of which races got the most news coverage? What kinds of news did you see about each?
    4.  Can you tell the class of the people in your selected news stories? How? What clues are there with which you can tell?
    5.  Was gender mentioned in your stories? Which people of which gender got the most news coverage?  What kinds of news stories were about women, and what kinds of storieswere about men?
    6.  Conclude with your opinion of what you have seen during the week.  Did you see different patterns?  What were they?  Did anything surprise you about what you observed?  What did you notice?

ASSIGNMENT:
For this essay, you will explain in detail, how the different poetic elements serve to create the meaning or theme A poetry explication provides a sense of how a particular poem means by analyzing the interplay of its elements. Your task will be to analyze the poem and discuss how the elements of poetry (structure, form, rhyme/lack of rhyme, sound devices, imagery, figurative language, symbolism, etc.) contribute to or convey the theme/message of the poem. How would you describe your racial category? Is race any different from ethnic background, in your opinion? How, if so?

Interview Essay

The essays required for this class, combined, will form 50% of your final grade. To help you in your writing, your papers will be graded both on content and organization.
This essay is an interview of someone you know; preferably a parent, step parent, grandparent, an in-law, or an aunt or uncle.  You may interview another family member or a friend, but it should be someone at least ten years older than you are.  The purpose of this essay assignment is for you to get a real world look at the impact of racial and ethnic identity on people’s lives, by having you discuss the topic with someone you know personally. This first essay is worth 10% of the final grade.

Use the assigned readings from the text (pp. 1-194) for background and context, and conduct the interview using the following questions:

  1. How would you describe your racial category? Is race any different from ethnic background, in your opinion? How, if so?

  1. When you were in grade school, did you play with kids of a different race from you? Or were your friends of your same race?

  1. Did your parents express their views about different races? For example, if you dated someone of a different race, did (or would) your family approve or object?

  1. Have any of your experiences changed your views on race? If so, how?

  1. Do you think your race had anything to do with the kinds of career choices that were expected for you when you were growing up?  How about for when your parents were growing up?  Have expectations changed?

Conclude your essay with a discussion of your reaction to the answers you got.  What is your opinion of your interviewee’s ideas?  Do you agree or disagree?  Why?

Important Instructions:

Include a brief description of who the person is in the introduction of your interview.  You should create the essay out of the person’s answers – do not simply record the interview in a Question and Answer style.

You must be careful to PROOFREAD as well as spell check.  Spell check will not pick up the difference between words like *woman* and *women*, or *lose* and *loose*.    These two typos are the worst. ;-)

Essay Length, Style, and How it is Graded:

The essay should be at least 2-3 pages long, doublespaced.    Be sure that your font is no larger than size 12, and that your margins are no larger than 1″ (inch).  If you choose to use the font Courier New, your font size should be no larger than 10.  The essay will be assessed on how well you discuss the questions above in relation to the themes of our course.    Please see the Grading Standards to see what counts for an A, a B, a C, a D, and an F.

Identify and review two additional scholarly resources (not included in the Resources for this module) that focus on change strategies implemented by healthcare organizations to address your selected national healthcare issue/stressor.

Assignment: Analysis of a Pertinent Healthcare Issue
The Quadruple Aim provides broad categories of goals to pursue to maintain and improve healthcare. Within each goal are many issues that, if addressed successfully, may have a positive impact on outcomes. For example, healthcare leaders are being tasked to shift from an emphasis on disease management often provided in an acute care setting to health promotion and disease prevention delivered in primary care settings. Efforts in this area can have significant positive impacts by reducing the need for primary healthcare and by reducing the stress on the healthcare system.
Changes in the industry only serve to stress what has always been true; namely, that the healthcare field has always faced significant challenges, and that goals to improve healthcare will always involve multiple stakeholders. This should not seem surprising given the circumstances. Indeed, when a growing population needs care, there are factors involved such as the demands of providing that care and the rising costs associated with healthcare. Generally, it is not surprising that the field of healthcare is an industry facing multifaceted issues that evolve over time.
In this module’s Discussion, you reviewed some healthcare issues/stressors and selected one for further review. For this Assignment, you will consider in more detail the healthcare issue/stressor you selected. You will also review research that addresses the issue/stressor and write a white paper to your organization’s leadership that addresses the issue/stressor you selected.
To Prepare:
Review the national healthcare issues/stressors presented in the Resources and reflect on the national healthcare issue/stressor you selected for study.
Reflect on the feedback you received from your colleagues on your Discussion post for the national healthcare issue/stressor you selected.
Identify and review two additional scholarly resources (not included in the Resources for this module) that focus on change strategies implemented by healthcare organizations to address your selected national healthcare issue/stressor.
The Assignment (3-4 Pages):
