Explain the algorithm in details with some examples that show how the algorithm works and some examples.

Assignment overview: each group will write a report on the Word document and create a web page that discusses the algorithms

Report (Word document) contents: 1. Cover Letter on a separate page (include all team members’ names, ID, section number, course name, and the name of the algorithms)

  1. Table of contents on a separate page (with pages numbers)
  2. Introduction (brief introduction to the algorithms that will be discussed in the report)
  3. Algorithm 1: Explain the algorithm in details with some examples that show how the algorithm works and some examples.
  4. Algorithm 2: Explain the algorithm in details with some examples that show how the algorithm works and some examples.
  5. References (citation for any work or any textbook you use to write your report (APA style).

Write a brief introductory paragraph in which you establish context – where, what, who, when, and state your thesis.

The only source you need is “Discovering the American Past; A Look at the Evidence” vol. 2 8th edition 2017
To write these essays:
1. Find the question/problem posed at the beginning of each DAP chapter in “The Problem” section. Your answer to this question(s) will become the thesis of your essay.
2. Understand that “The Problem” and “The Background” sections are secondary source material that gives you some context for the question/problem that you are analyzing. They were written by Wheeler and Glover in the 21st century.
3. “The Evidence” section gives you primary sources. These sources were written in 17th, 18th, or 19th centuries, and they are always the most important part of every chapter. Read them carefully, keeping the problem/question in mind as you are seeking evidence to answer it.
4. Think about the primary source evidence. Your job is to use the primary source evidence to develop an answer to the question/problem. That answer becomes your argument, your thesis.
5. Write a brief introductory paragraph in which you establish context – where, what, who, when, and state your thesis.
6. The rest of your essay should, in clear, clean, and concise prose, support your thesis with evidence (from the primary sources) and analysis.
7. Remember: you do not need to consult any outside sources. DAP has compiled the sources for you. No further research is necessary. Also remember: you are making and supporting an argument; you are not writing a summary of the evidence or a summary of the material in “The Background” section.
8. When you quote, cite the source in a footnote. Historians use Chicago-style citations; that is what you should use. Microsoft Word will do much of the work for you (see Notes on Footnotes below). A bibliography is not required.
Notes on Footnotes
How to insert footnotes into the text of your DAP essay:
Put the cursor directly after the quotation or sentence you wish to cite.
From the horizontal menu at the top of the page, select References, then Insert Footnote. A superscript number will appear after your quotation/sentence, and a matching superscript number will appear at the bottom of the page.
Type your footnote at the bottom of the page. The font size will be smaller automatically.
Examples of Chicago-style footnotes:
If Anne Hutchinson said something on page 51 in DAP that you would like to quote as evidence, the footnote would look like this:
Anne Hutchinson, in William Wheeler and Lorri Glover, Discovering the American
Past: A Look at the Evidence, 8th ed (Boston: Cengage Learning, 2012), 51.
Your first footnote should look exactly like the above. The only variables, of course, are the name of the person you are quoting and the page number. Insert the name of whomever you are quoting, and the page number where it is found. (You can copy everything but those variables!)
Subsequent footnotes from DAP that appear in your essay will be shorter. You do not have to give a full citation for a book you have already cited. So, second, third, fourth, etc. footnotes from DAP should look like this:
Governor John Winthrop, in Wheeler and Glover, 53.
Use the name of the person you are quoting, the last names of the authors, and the page
number where the quote or idea appears.

Describe a business organization for which you are proposing design of an information system.

You will develop a PowerPoint proposal presentation for your plan for fulfilling a business need that would help the organization achieve its goals. Please note, you will use the same proposed business information system each week in presentations assignments and in your final paper in Week 5. The topic would be of your choice, however, some examples of topics are listed below (these are only examples, you should select a topic that you are personally interested in and have some knowledge of):
An employee expenditure tracking system (tracking of trips, travel expenses, food costs, etc.)
A health club membership system (for tracking members’ charges, visits, rental of equipment, etc.)
An event planning system (conferences, seminars, parties) planning and follow up system (planning, announcing, follow up and reporting)
A college admission system (registering applicants, charging fees, entering applicant data, generating reports and reminder letters)
A expenditure tracking system (allowing student membership, creating discussion topics and threads on courses, topics, etc.)
Your analysis content will be as specified in the chart below. Include citations to support your points throughout the presentation.
The format of your PowerPoint presentation should be:
Slide 1: Title of PowerPoint, Course, Instructor, Date Submitted, Student Name
Slides 2-4: Describe a business organization for which you are proposing design of an information system. Perform a brief research on similar existing systems and provide their background information. Some areas to investigate and report in the research include availability of off-the-shelf software, required technology platforms, cost issues, type of technology used in existing systems, etc.
Slides 5-7: Describe the business requirements of the proposed system. How would you elicit requirements of the system from the business information system stakeholders? Briefly discuss the functional requirements of the system. Describe the alternative system development methodologies (SDLC, prototyping, JAD, RAD, etc.) in the context of the proposed system and what would be the best approach for development.
Slides 8-9: Management would have several other projects to consider when authorizing approval of the proposed system. Since most organizations have limited resources, you would have to make a pitch for the proposed system. Discuss why your proposal is the one that should be funded, how the system would help the organization meets its business and strategic goals, and identify other benefits the system would provide for the stakeholders.
Slide 10: Reference List

8:25 PM (CDT)Assignment DetailsAssignment DescriptionGraduate Programs Discussion BoardsDiscussion Boards (DB) are a key component of online learning. They foster active participation of learners and dialog with fellow learners and instructors. Graduatelevel coursesrequire learners to create original posts to course DBs and to engage in dialogue by responding to posts created by others throughout the course. Original posts and responsesshould be substantive, and if references are made to the works of others, APA guidelines for intext citations and references apply.Minimum Weekly DB ExpectationsPost an original and thoughtful Main Post to the DB prompt.Respond to at least 2 other posts from learners and/or the instructor (Response Posts). The first contribution (Main Post or Response Post) must be posted before midnight (Central time) on Friday of each week. Two additional responses are required after Friday of each week. For DB assignment prompts with a Part One and Part Two, Part One should be addressed in the first week of the unit with a Main Post and minimum of 2 ResponsePosts, and Part Two should be addressed in the second week of the unit with a Main Post and a minimum of 2 Response Posts.More on DBsAt the end of each unit, DB participation is assessed based on level of engagement and the quality of the contribution to the discussion. DBs allow learners to learn throughsharing ideas and experiences as they relate to course content. Because it is not possible to engage in twoway dialogue after a conversation has ended, no posts to the DB areaccepted after the end of the unit. Learners must demonstrate an appropriate depth of understanding of course content to receive credit for having submitted substantive posts.Typically, this is achieved with 3–4 strong paragraphs for Main Posts and 2–3 strong paragraphs for Response Posts.Discussion Board QuestionYou have subsequently hired recruiters who are not having a great deal of success recruiting and selecting scientists.
