You are completing this assignment to demonstrate your understanding of the service categories, service area, and service area profile for Cottage Senior Living as elements of a service area competitor analysis. Read the case study, “Cottage Senior Living.”

The initial step to a service area competitor analysis is  to review the external analysis with specific attention given to the health organization’s service area. The initial step includes defining the service category, determining service area boundaries, and creating the service area profile. Using the template provided, define the:

  • Service categories:Cottage Senior Living has several service categories Choose one service category (i.e. Assisted Living,Memory Care Units, or Active Adult Units to develop your analysis)
  • Service area boundaries. The service area is considered to be the geographical area surrounding the health organization from which it pulls the majority of its customers/patients. Review Exhibit 4, “The Cottages Portfolio” from the case study and select one service area location. Beyond the geographical area, service area boundaries also include the following:
    • Consumer preferences.
    • Personal values.
    • Social values.
    • Multiple service areas
  • Service area profile. The service area profile includes key competitively related economic, demographic, psychographic (lifestyle), and community health status indicators. Summarize the research paper. What is the motivation for the research? What data was used? What is the paper’s economic model? What were the results? What conclusions can we draw from the results? Are there any government policy implications?

Summarize the research paper. What is the motivation for the research? What data was used? What is the paper’s
economic model? What were the results? What conclusions can we draw from the results? Are there any
government policy implications? Each research paper will begin with an abstract, which is a summary that usually
contains all of the above. Use the abstract to help you write your own summary, but make sure your
summary is your own and goes beyond simply paraphrasing the abstract.
2. Write out the main economic model of the paper. It will nearly always be a mathematical equation with variables.
A research paper will often contain multiple models, but there is typically one “primary” model that is the main
focus of the paper, while the others are intermediate steps. Explain the economic model in your own words. What
is the primary cause-and-effect relationship the model examines? Next, come up with your own model that builds
upon the one in the paper. What new research could an economist conduct that builds upon the research of your
economic paper?

Select a NOSQL database (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, BigTable, etc…) and write a paper describing its security features. In particular, you should discuss: access control, encryption, user authentication, protection against injections, support for auditing and testing

Select a NOSQL database (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, BigTable, etc…) and write a paper describing its security features. In particular, you should discuss:

  • access control (which model is implemented, granularity of the access control…)
  • encryption (What is encrypted (data-at-rest, in memory, in transit), key management, …)
  • user authentication
  • protection against injections
  • support for auditing and testing

Some NoSQL research papers are provided in NoSQL Research Papers section in Canvas which you can refer for the content and how to write a research paper.

Make sure that the work is original and not copy and paste from any source (I will use Turnitin to check for plagiarism). Wherever you are using a reference put the reference number or author right in the parenthesis after the prose and add the reference to the reference section. Look for research papers for reference.

Write a multi-paragraph essay providing (defining) your personal criteria for happiness and exploring whether or not you have achieved happiness based on these criteria. For this writing assignment, your response should be persuasive, thoughtful, and detailed, showing various points that support both the criteria you have chosen to define happiness and your discussion of how closely you currently “match” this definition. Logical evidence that backs up your opinion should be used throughout.

The essay should clearly explain what you think it means to be happy and whether or not you currently fit or match the definition you present. The first paragraph will offer an interesting introduction that pulls the reader into your views on how happiness should be defined using specific criteria. The following two paragraphs need to include main points that prove how and why your criteria define happiness (one criterion per paragraph), evidence supporting these criteria, and analysis explaining how the evidence supports each point. The next paragraph (#4) needs to discuss whether or not your situation matches the criteria you used to define happiness and answers the question, “Based on your definition, are you currently happy?” It’s okay for the answer to this question to be “no,” but you should have some idea of what you might need to do to be happier, if that is one of your goals. You may be content as is, which is great. For the purpose of this assignment, just be honest about your current state and your thoughts on why you feel that way. You will need to provide evidence and reasoning to support the match. Your final paragraph should conclude your thoughts on this topic in an interesting, thoughtful way that goes beyond summary and gives your reader something to consider.

As a reminder, each paragraph should have a topic sentence that clearly states your point and details to support/prove this point. You should have transitions between paragraphs that show why each point appears in this order. The grading rubric will help you develop your paper

There are many factors and measures that may impact organizational health. Among these is civility. While an organization can institute policies designed to promote such things as civility, how can it be sure these are managed effectively?Examine the use of tools in measuring workplace civility.

How healthy is your workplace? You may think your current organization operates seamlessly, or you may feel it has many issues. You may experience or even observe things that give you pause. Yet, much as you wouldn’t try to determine the health of a patient through mere observation, you should not attempt to gauge the health of your work environment based on observation and opinion. Often, there are issues you perceive as problems that others do not; similarly, issues may run much deeper than leadership recognizes.

What is Mrs. Levy’s perception of the problem? What can be some of the implications of the problem on the family as a whole?

Addictive disorders can be particularly challenging for clients. Not only do these disorders typically interfere with a client’s ability to function in daily life, but they also often manifest as negative and sometimes criminal behaviors. Sometime clients with addictive disorders also suffer from other mental health issues, creating even greater struggles for them to overcome. In your role, you have the opportunity to help clients address their addictions and improve outcomes for both the clients and their families. For this Assignment, as you examine the Levy Family video in this week’s Learning Resources, consider how you might assess and treat clients presenting with addiction.

Assess clients presenting with addictive disorders. Analyze therapeutic approaches for treating clients with addictive disorders. Evaluate outcomes for clients with addictive disorders. Review this week’s Learning Resources and consider the insights they provide. Review the Levy Family video Episodes 1 through 5.
