Describe your experience with social loafing. How have you dealt with this concept in the past? After reading this chapter, how would you approach such an incident moving forward?

Let us discuss the topic of social loafing (shirking). This is the tendency for individuals to expand less effort when working collectively than when working individually. Describe your experience with social loafing. How have you dealt with this concept in the past? After reading this chapter, how would you approach such an incident moving forward? How would you describe your personal approach to group work?

The members in the group invest more time and energy when working individually, while they are apt to take less effort for achieving the working goal when performing group tasks. This phenomenon is called social loafing (Morgan et al., 1993). When the group need to do some activities for reaching their goals, it is important to pay attention to social slack and adjust subconsciously.

Write an informative essay that presents two sides of an issue without revealing bias. Present all the major arguments on one side of the issue, and then present all the major arguments of the opposing viewpoint.

When you write an informative essay that presents two sides of an issue without revealing bias, there are three primary organizational tactics that can be used:

Present all the major arguments on one side of the issue, and then present all the major arguments of the opposing viewpoint.
Present one of the major issues relating to the overarching topic, and in the same paragraph, discuss the viewpoints of both sides on this particular issue.
In one paragraph, present one of the viewpoints on one major aspect of the controversy, and then follow that paragraph with another paragraph presenting the opposing views’ arguments related to the same aspect of the controversy. You then repeat that pattern one to three more times.

Use the outline template and one of the strategies listed above to organize the materials for your paper.
Use specific quotes or cited evidence in APA style format for your supporting details.
Develop a concise thesis statement that clearly and accurately presents the main idea you will develop in your paper.

Reflect on the patient’s symptoms, medical history, and drugs currently prescribed. Consider an appropriate drug therapy plan based on the patient’s history, diagnosis, and drugs currently prescribed.

Gastrointestinal (GI) and hepatobiliary disorders affect the structure and function of the GI tract. Many of these disorders often have similar symptoms, such as abdominal pain, cramping, constipation, nausea, bloating, and fatigue. Since multiple disorders can be tied to the same symptoms, it is important for advanced practice nurses to carefully evaluate patients and prescribe a treatment that targets the cause rather than the symptom.
Patient HL comes into the clinic with the following symptoms: nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The patient has a history of drug abuse and possible Hepatitis C. HL is currently taking the following prescription drugs:
• Synthroid 100 mcg daily
• Nifedipine 30 mg daily
• Prednisone 10 mg daily
Once the underlying cause is identified, an appropriate drug therapy plan can be recommended based on medical history and individual patient factors. In this Assignment, you examine a case study of a patient who presents with symptoms of a possible GI/hepatobiliary disorder, and you design an appropriate drug therapy plan.

• Reflect on the patient’s symptoms, medical history, and drugs currently prescribed.
• Consider an appropriate drug therapy plan based on the patient’s history, diagnosis, and drugs currently prescribed.
• Think about a possible diagnosis for the patient. Consider whether the patient has a disorder related to the gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary system or whether the symptoms are the result of a disorder from another system or other factors, such as pregnancy, drugs, or a psychological disorder
• Must have a purpose statement and a conclusion.

Explain your diagnosis for the patient, including your rationale for the diagnosis.
The response accurately and clearly explains in detail the diagnosis for the patient, including an accurate and thorough rationale for the diagnosis that supports clinical judgment.

Describe an appropriate drug therapy plan based on the patient’s history, diagnosis, and drugs currently prescribed.
The response accurately and completely describes in detail an appropriate drug therapy plan based on the patient’s history, diagnosis, and drugs currently prescribed.

Justify why you would recommend this drug therapy plan for this patient. Be specific and provide examples.
The response provides an accurate, clear, and detailed justification for the recommended drug therapy plan for this patient.

Analyze and explain the pharmacological aspects of the drug as they relate to the following: neurotransmitters affected, receptors, route of administration, half-life, doses, side effects, drug interactions, contraindications, and other important facets of the drug.

Select a psychoactive drug that is of pharmacological interest to you, but not one you will review as part of your Critical Review or one that was included in your previous Rapid Review. For this paper, you may choose drugs of abuse; however, the paper must focus on the pharmacology of the drug and not on the social or addictive aspects. If you focus on addiction and social impact, your paper will not receive credit.

In addition to the text, Advokat, C. D., Comaty, J. E., & Julien, R. M. (2018). Julien’s primer of drug action: A comprehensive guide to the actions, uses, and side effects of psychoactive drugs (14th ed.). Retrieved from https://vitalsource.com, research a minimum of three peer-reviewed articles published within the last five years on your selected drug. Prepare a three-page summary of the drug using the PSY630 Rapid Review Example paper as a guide.

In your Rapid Review, analyze and explain the pharmacological aspects of the drug as they relate to the following: neurotransmitters affected, receptors, route of administration, half-life, doses, side effects, drug interactions, contraindications, and other important facets of the drug. Explain these aspects of the drug in terms of the psychiatric disorders indicated for the drug and the issue(s) associated with that use. If there is no accepted therapeutic use for the drug, evaluate and describe the actions of the drug with regard to the abuse process.

Select one article from the list in Canvas Week 9, or may select a different study approved by the instructor for the critique assignment.  Use the guidelines in the Polit and Beck text to set a benchmark to critique the quantitative research study

For this assignment students will critique a qualitative research article.  Select one article from the list in Canvas Week 9, or may select a different study approved by the instructor for the critique assignment.  Use the guidelines in the Polit and Beck text to set a benchmark to critique the quantitative research study.  Cite the benchmark source for each area of the critique and describe how the study authors met or did not meet the benchmark criteria listed below.

Assignment Criteria:

Develop a scholarly paper that addresses the following criteria:

  1. Identify an area of clinical interest.
  2. Locate a minimum of one peer-reviewed journal article (no older than 5 years) related to your clinical topic of interest.
  3. Critique the journal article, fully answering the questions in the table below. Cite benchmark reference sources to explain where the authors meet the criteria or miss the mark
  4. The scholarly paper should be in narrative format, 4 to 5 pages excluding the title and reference page.
  5. Include an introductory paragraph, purpose statement, and a conclusion.
  6. Include level 1 and 2 headings to organize the paper.

Using the way anthropologists look at the economy (emphasis on human interaction through commodity creation and distribution), think about something you bought recently, and why you bought it. How does this item connect you to other people and places?

Using the way anthropologists look at the economy (emphasis on human interaction through commodity creation and distribution), think about something you bought recently, and why you bought it. How does this item connect you to other people and places?
What are some examples of economic exchanges in your social or cultural life? Which type of exchange is most common in your life, and are there consequences to those types of exchange?
What is a place in your life that demonstrates capitalism? What does the place look like and how does it function? Bonus points if you perform some sort of (safe!) participant observation. Some points to guide you:
Who are the people working at your location (gender, race, class, ethnicity, etc.)? What are their working and living conditions like?
Do the workers make enough money to purchase the items they make? Are they even interested in the items they make or sell?
How do the prices of the items get set? Do workers have any say in it?
Compare the wages of the workers to the wages of the CEO or owner of the company. What do you notice about these values?
How easy was it to find information about the commodities you were researching in your Fieldwork Project? Why might it be hard to find this information?
Did you learn anything about how the production of this commodity impacts people and environment? How do you feel about understanding more about the production of goods from an anthropological perspective?
Now, focus on the Mardi Gras: Made in China video.
What were your feelings about the documentary as a whole? Did you learn anything from the situations portrayed?
Have you ever participated in Mardi Gras, or a similar event? Did you ever stop to reflect about who produced the beads, and what their lives might be like? Why or why not?
Who are the people working at the factory? Why does the factory manager employ particular types of workers?
What are their working and living conditions like?
Do the workers make enough money to purchase the items they make? Are they even interested in the items they make or sell?
Have any of the things you’ve learned this week made you think more about the commodities you consume, or changed your perspective on how global political economies function? Why or why not?

Analyse the impact and resource requirements likely for growth strategies in a range of organizations. Develop an appreciation of different business models and how performance and success of ventures may beevaluated.

Design a digital system to assess the values of two 2-bit binary numbers.

The  system  has  two  2-bit  inputs  p  =  p1 p0  and  q  =  q1 q0,  and  one  1-bit  output  w.   The

2-bit inputs p and q take one of the four values 00, 01, 10, and 11, which are the 2-bit binary representations  of  the  decimal  numbers  0,  1,  2  and  3,  respectively.   The  1-bit  output  w  is required  to  have  value  1    if  and  only  if    p  and  q  are  both  odd,  or  p  and  q  are  both  even, recalling that in decimal, 0 and 2 are even while 1 and 3 are odd.

As  a  first  step  in  the  design  process,  complete  the  Karnaugh  map  (K-map)  for this system.

Identify key business and technical challenges of FlashMobz acquisition of PhonesRUs and transition to eCommerce. Build an inclusive and persuasive argument that can be presented to Asif.

FlashMobz is a mobile phone and accessories retailer based in England, owned by Asif. The business started with a single shop, which Asif has grown into a chain of eleven. The first four shops were opened from scratch but in July 2014 Asif bought ‘PhonesRUs’ a group of three outlets, which he intends to operate under the FlashMobz brand. The recent acquisition is a significant expansion in the operation of the business, not least because two of the new outlets are in Belgium. Asif is hoping that this will help him to gain a foothold in the European market. As a result of the expansion Asif has identified a need to open a new warehouse in the East of England, and he has decided that this would be an excellent opportunity to launch an eCommerce arm to the business, capitalising on the success of the FlashMobz brand, but with a relatively small additional overhead.

FlashMobz and PhonesRUs have different IT systems, and in addition to integrating the two parts of the business there is the need to add ‘b2c’ eCommerce functionality. Asif would like this to be fully integrated with the retail stores, allowing customers to collect and return stock via the stores, as well as via courier.

You are a member of the SBS Consultant Team employed by FlashMobz. You are required to write a professional report which deals with the issues outlined above and presents your analysis and recommendations.

▪ Identify key business and technical challenges of FlashMobz acquisition of PhonesRUs and transition to eCommerce.
▪ Consider barriers to implementation and how these might be overcome.
▪ Build an inclusive and persuasive argument that can be presented to Asif.

The word count for the report is 2400.

Structure your assignment as a report – include:Abstract- Title Page – Contents – Introduction a Main Section – Conclusions and Recommendations a References.

The case study requires you to work with incomplete information, an important skill. You are free to make assumptions about aspects of Asif’s situation or operation where these are relevant to your work – ensure that any assumptions made are clearly stated in your report.

You must reference your report with a range of practitioner and academic publications (Include at least 10 references. References will not be included in the word count).

The report should be be 2400 words in length (not including the references)
