Pointers to include: include historical perspectives and connect to dates and current theories. Look at 3 Is. Intent implementation and impact.

Analyze the internal and external market factors of the nation your sport organization is looking to join. Consider what factors impact the target nation’s market from within, but also outside elements. Determine specific political factors that could impact the success of your organization’s expansion into an international market and explain possible approaches to addressing these factors.

Target Market Factors

In Module Six, you will submit a draft of the target market factors section of NFL. You will use the information you have established regarding your target nation to analyze the target market within that nation. Markets within different countries will have their own unique rules and regulations that must be considered when looking to expand. For this milestone, you will analyze international and external market factors, political factors, and cultural factors and use this information to predict communication challenges that your organization could face when moving into the target market. You will also describe ways in which these challenges can be managed. Finally, you will describe your competitor’s media preferences and what your organization can offer to the chosen market. Also, establish how your sport organization differs from others, being sure to include an analysis of pricing.
In your submission, be sure to include the following critical elements:

A. Analyze the internal and external market factors of the nation your sport organization is looking to join. Consider what factors impact the target nation’s market from within, but also outside elements.

B. Determine specific political factors that could impact the success of your organization’s expansion into an international market and explain possible approaches to addressing these factors.

C. Determine specific cultural factors that must be considered for your organization to be successful in the target market and explain possible approaches to addressing these factors.

D. Predict communication challenges that your organization could face when moving to the target market and describe ways that these challenges can be managed.

E. Describe what your organization can offer to the chosen market that it is currently missing or lacking.

F. Determine direct and indirect competitors to your organization within your target market, explaining the relationship and why they are competitors.

G. Determine the demographics within your target nation that your organization will pursue and justify your response.

H. Identify ways that competitors use media to promote their organizations and explain why these ways are effective with the chosen demographic.

I. Establish how your sport organization differs from competitors already existing in this market. Support your response with examples.

J. Analyze the pricing associated with attending sporting events within this market. Support your analysis with specific examples.

Do you feel that most organizations or departments rush too quickly to act rather than study what is proposed and re-evaluate the plan?

Ineffective communication

Do you feel that most organizations or departments rush too quickly to act rather than study what is proposed and re-evaluate the plan?

Ineffective communication is a gap in nursing that occurs due to poor. Communication practices too much information handed quickly or hesitation to communicate a protocol due to authoritative differences (Johnson et al. 2020). Poor communication in nurses arises due to unplanned communication between providers. Data can be passed out too quickly, especially in stressful situations, leading to communication breakdown and causing errors (Johnson et al. 2020). Nursing practices call for protocols when airing problems. However, differences in power can cause hesitation.

What is your assessment of the goals of this interest group? Are their goals in the best interests of Texas? Why? Texas Interest Groups Project: My group is Planned Parenthood Texas Votes

An interest group for our purpose is any organization, association, or group that is organized
with a political purpose or object in mind. They are also known as lobbyists, political advocacy groups, pressure groups, associations, organizations, etc.

Pick a national or Texas interest group in which you are interested. That is to say, pick a group that does work in a political area that you want to know more about. ANSWER ALL OF THE FOLLOWING. Answers must be typed and should indicate the number of the question being answered. Make sure you include proper citations from the Internet for each answer. Do NOT cut and paste any part of any answers. You are to put each answer into your own words. The answers to every question may not be on their website—you may have to be industrious in finding the information. You may want to call the IG as a last option or just to chat.

Problems 9-11 are worth by far the most points in the assignments. Do not skip them!!!

1. Name of the interest group (IG).
2. Website address of the IG.
3. Phone number of the IG.
4. Address of the IG.
5. Year the IG was founded.

6. Write a one-paragraph description of the nature and purpose of the organization. This can be summarized in their “About” section. In your own words.

7. Name of current head/director/chairman/president of the IG. Brief description of the
professional background of the individual. In your own words.

8. Find a piece of legislation that has been sponsored or advocated by the IG. This can be from any session of the Texas Legislature. If they are a major IG, odds are that they have
sponsored some legislation—this will take some research as well.

9. Watch a video about the IG. This can be from the IG itself or can be from a news show about IG. This could include if someone from the organization was interviewed on a news show. These videos are often on the organization’s website. The video should be at least three minutes long. Include a website link to the video so that I may watch it as well. In at least one paragraph, summarize the arguments and claims made in the video.

10. Do a one-paragraph summary of an article or OP-ED that discusses the activities of your IG. It can be written by someone who works for the IG or by someone outside the IG. Summaries shouldn’t have any quotations; they should be entirely in your own words. Include a link to the op-ed so I can read it.

11. Think about all you have learned about the IG and answer the following questions in a four-paragraph essay (12 pt font, single-spaced).

a. What is your assessment of the goals of this interest group? Are their goals in the best interests of Texas? Why? Are there other goals they should have or goals that they do
have they should abandon?

b. Specifically, how does this interest group try to achieve its goals? Do they tend to hold conferences, run ads, lobby legislators, publish articles or books, and raise and spend money for specific things? Different interest groups employ different methods…show me you understand how this interest group tries to achieve its goals.

c. Finally, has this interest group been effective in achieving its goals. This will require some research. Don’t just say yes or no. Provide data that show specific failures or successes of this interest group. Think about how one would go about evaluating the effectiveness of an interest group.

Pollinator Gardens – ArcGIS Map in Pittsburgh PA

An individual project uses geospatial tools (ArcGIS) to create an original map that proposes a solution for real-world environmental issues. Not just plotting information on a map but also running statistical analysis where you can supply the results on a map either in spatial form or by a table. Two-page summary outline, a color pdf map, and an MXD packaged in a map package. MUST use ArcMap as the primary medium, do NOT use PDF map for the majority of the project, can use PowerPoint, google earth, or other programs to supplement. Can use ppt to explain everything before methods and switch to ArcMap or use half and half. Work Needed:

1. Title (In Map and Outline): eye-catching and informative title that is specific and characterizes the central theme of creating pollinator gardens in the city park of Pittsburgh.

2. Introduction & Motivation: set the stage for the questions you are asking and give an overview of why you are doing this research. Describe the context of your project ( observations that led you to the project or other information) and present a general descriiption of your project location.

3. Problem Statement (geographic questions & goals): state the specific geographic and spatial questions you answer for the project.

4. Methods: Describe specifically what you did to accomplish the goals of the project. List software (used ArcGIS- ArcCatalog/ArcMap), the projection you placed your project in, steps in your analysis describing GIS tools (ex: clip, dissolve, geocode, union, model builder), and describe inputs and outputs of the tools that you used, and other relevant information. You should have a geodatabase dedicated to your project. DO not list data sources or download efforts.

5. Results: show what your results are by using your map and summarize with text, charts, and graphs. Do NOT explain or interpret anything here. Show what happened in a way that can be read easily. Be sure to refer your reader to your map, for example, “Figure 1 shows…” If needed, place in table.

6. MAP ELEMENTS: – title – give your figure a number to reference in your report. Ex: Figure 1- runoff volume in Pine Creek – Cartographer Name & date of publication – Data source, EX: United States Geological Survey – North Arrow – Scale Bar – Legend – Coordinate System – Use of reference (EX: transportation, insert of location map, boundaries, and cities) – Colors are chosen appropriate to communicate the problem depicted by the map – Font and text contributed to the dissemination of information and were easily readable – Layout of essential map elements utilized white space well – Map represents data to reflect the topic and problem statement accurately – Map is professional in appearance

7.  Discussion: What do your results say about the original questions? How confident are you in your findings? What are some possible explanations for results that didn’t come out as expected? Were there any surprises?

8. Implications, conclusions, and possible future work: what implications do these findings have for your objectives? What new questions do they raise? What could be tried next?

9. References sheet: List of data sources used for the project.
